The sign said best burgers and Deadwood, and based on what I ate, I have no reason to doubt their claim. I had the Ultimate Bacon Burger. It was 1/2 pound of shear pleasure. My wife got the gourmet mac n cheese. She thought it was excellent, but it was pretty expensive considering what it is. The kids meals were very reasonably priced.
It had a nice, eclectic atmosphere.
I would have given 5 stars, but the service was incredibly slow. I’m guessing they’re under staffed considering the help wanted sign in the window. I highly recommend this place if you’re not in a hurry.

One of the most delicious hamburgers I’ve ever had! I had the Reuben burger which I definitely recommend. My dad had the prime rib sandwich. We’ve gone on a week long road trip and this has been the best restaurant and burgers so far. My sister had the macaroni and cheese and she loved it. The service is fantastic and I definitely recommend. If there was a rating higher than five stars I’d put the highest one. Absolutely love it!

Right now maps is calling this place fine dining while it definitely is not. This is a bar. That said, the food is very good. The burgers are huge and they have a full bar. There is a gift shop attached with lots of deadwood gifts.

I would give Eaglev Bar and Steakhouse 7 Stars if I could.
The owners were both there.
The waiter Joseph is the best waiter I’ve ever had.
He owned his own local restaurant, and was recruited by the owners.
The pickle fries were excellent especially the mayonnaise sauce. They only carry a few wines and we drank a bottle of their Lodi, California Zinfidel Wine and took one from Australia to go.
Joseph makes a special 100 Proof mystery liquor.
My wife drank 2 double shots. I had to order one for myself!
We’re here for 2 more nights and WE’RE SURE to come back.

My parents celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary wanting to cut cost being a group of 17 we decided we would only eat out once on our 4 day vacay. With the help of Kim the Eagle Bar and steakhouse did not disappoint. We stopped in on Sunday Labor Day weekend. Our waiter Kim was amazing, fast, super friendly and entertaining! The burgers were good, the fried green beans were amazing!! My husband hates green beans but said he’d eat those any day. Tasted like they used fresh out of the garden green beans. the Long Island iced teas were strong. Really only down side was we had the tables with benches and they was uncomfortable but we also traveled 10hrs. My father wanted to speak to the manger to praise Kim but he was out. So if you see this, Kim was awesome and definitely made our dinner worth it.

Gave a 5 star last year. Things have really changed. Came last month with family. Is this place under new management? Our burgers were burnt, used different fries that weren’t very tasty. Not the best bloody Mary in Deadwood anymore. Service was fair. Wait staff said he wouldn’t charge us for the bottled water because of burnt burgers. Awesome waitress from last year gone. Very disappointed since we bragged this place up to family and friends.
