Me & my fiancé & I got engaged at home (Denver) around 3am Christmas Eve & then decided we need to go somewhere to celebrate. We’d both never been to steamboat so we did it. This was the first restaurant we went to when we got here & the food & service was as outstanding. Tatum & Tessy specifically were absolutely amazing. We know exactly what we like coming to places like this & everything came out perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re visiting steamboat springs!

Loved this place, best place on the River I thought… I visited in September and didn’t visit every single place in steamboat on the river, but quite a few and this was by far my favorite.
I started out with champagne and a snack outside. It was glorious. I like the food very much too. I just thought everything was great. I think this is a don’t miss spot. If you really, really love outside type of places and they have music from the third night I was there. I don’t know. I love this place.!!

Sat at the bar and the service was great!! The espresso martini was one of the best I’ve ever had and the steak was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend E3 if you are looking for a nice steak dinner in Steamboat!

It’s clear upper management deeply cares about this place, the proof is in the details. Food was delicious, especially the lobster bisque! I do wish the lunch menu had more elevated options, but we will just have to come by for dinner next time!

My husband and I had a wonderful time here as newlyweds. Our bartender, Paige, was hilarious—she joked around with us, even when we made a silly comment about how SpongeBob would be upset about all the crab we’d just eaten. The food was fantastic; my filet was cooked to perfection (medium rare ), and my husband loved the bottomless snow crab (Monday special). The drinks were equally impressive, well crafted and delicious.

We had tenderloin, wedge, and lobster bisque. The only thing better than the food was the service. Our experience from the moment we walked in the door was delightful. We enjoyed an elegant dining experience with a casual atmosphere of the riverside seating. I forgot to take pictures of the food, but captured the view.

Great experience! Our server was very attentive, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the food was top-notch. If you’re looking for an appetizer, the bacon wrapped dates are the best I’ve ever had! & I’m not normally a steak gal, but the filet was melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. Highly recommend!

We had the BEST time at E3 tonight! Daniel provided the most amazing service and made our first experience here 10/10!! We started with martini’s and bacon wrapped dates. I split the crab cakes and 8oz filet – WONDERFUL! The other people in our party ordered the lamb chops, brussel sprouts, and mac n cheese. We all stated it was our favorite meal since we have been in Steamboat! Can’t wait to come back!!

We live in a ski town and things are expensive – that’s fine and expected – what’s not fine is egregious undisclosed nickel and diming on a $500 check for 4 people. Two examples tonight.
1 – we order a bottle of wine and they bring a newer vintage. When asked about the discrepancy. They give a rehearsed speech about how “the tariffs have driven up their prices” – okay then reprint your list with the right bottles instead of a bait and switch.
2 – the final bill doesn’t add up to the total. Turns out they’re charging a 3% credit card fee. No where is this disclosed or mentioned prior to payment. Are you kidding me? I expect this from a gas station bodega, not a high end steak house.
Spend your money somewhere else that will treat you with honesty and respect.

I don’t leave reviews hardly ever and we are extremely laid back about service and food most of the time but hoping this can help for future.
1 star is gracious after our experience tonight . Very disappointed all around. Service was awful, our waitress came to our table maybe 3-4 times and was extremely short with us while joking around and visiting other tables. Food had no flavor with everything we ordered , was very bland and the lights kept being turned off and on. My husband and I have been coming to E3 for at least 4 years and it has always been our go to and absolute favorite for any special occasion, date night, celebration and the only restaurant we choose to come to Steamboat to eat at and we recommend almost everyone that comes to town. For a $400 meal really expected more regardless of service. Bacon wrapped dates were burnt. Crab legs were way over done and flavorless, “butter” was basically hot oil , and lobster Mac n cheese was dry noodles with a couple chunks of lobster. We can eat twice the quality of food for half the price in Maybell. What a shame this is with a restaurant we’ve made many great memories at. We definitely won’t be back or recommend anyone.
