The service is great but the food is mid. The whiting and fries were very underwhelming and lacked flavor. I like that they give you a button to let you know when your food is ready so you don’t have to wait outside and the young lady who helped me was very pleasant. I think they should also give more condiments like hot sauce and tartar sauce for larger orders. I was given one of each and it wasn’t enough for my entire order.

I’m one of the few lucky ones, they’re right up the street about block away from my house. Been going there for years. Great customer service. Food is fantastic. My favorite is the Steak n Take. Today I had The Fish with fries. Fried to perfection just the way it’s supposed to be. They don’t season the fish to death. Very consistent in quality each and every time you order. People drive from all over. I like the old school vibe. It reminds me of the 70s and 80s when we used to go down and get all of these steak n takes and bean pies and fish sandwiches. Oh the good ole days….So come on down and see for yourself.

Decided to stop by today because I drive by weekly for work and I always see this food truck and never stop so today I did and I ordered a Whaler sandwich and everything about it was great 0 complaints the catfish was good, sauce was good and the guy running the truck was a awesome guy to chat with while waiting for my food if you haven’t stopped by to give their food a try PLEASE DO ITS WORTH YOUR TIME

Absolutely worth the trip! E & S Original Steak-N-Take has the BEST catfish in the whole state—hands down. Every bite is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My uncle put me on to this spot, and now I drive all the way from Linden, NJ just for their food. The staff is always friendly, and you can really taste the love they put into every meal. If you’re looking for amazing catfish and great service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

The food is good. The salt n vinegar seasoned fries were yummy! The service is okay for a food truck. After waiting in 90° for 20 minutes for my $61 order, I asked for a cup of ice. $1.50 for a cup! I declined. Don’t expect anything extra!
