I met up with some old friends today to catch up. The weather was cold and windy, traffic was miserable, but the moment we walked into this EM Bop location, all of that faded away. The warmth inside was an instant contrast to the chaos outside.
We were greeted kindly and, after a short wait, shown to our table.
Our server, Lina, was fantastic. She mentioned it was her first day of training, which honestly came as a surprise we never would’ve known. She checked in on us frequently, making sure we didn’t need a grill change, wanted to order more food, or needed our side dishes refilled. If management happens to read this, you’ve got a great addition to your team in Lina.
The food was consistent with the Duluth location. The pork belly was incredibly satisfying, especially when paired with ssamjang. The marinated pork steak was another standout . Tender, flavorful, and well-marinated. The side dishes were prepared thoughtfully, refreshing the palate and somehow making room to eat even more

The service staff and atmosphere are excellent…and the menu is large too. You can order all-you-can eat, or by plate. My wife and I ordered by plate.
To tell the truth but I’m not super big into Korean, but the menu had japchae, which I thought I loved because of a past experience, so I ordered it and the hotpot beef bulgogi & rice.
I particularly enjoyed the Bulgogi. I decided I really only wanted the potatoe noodles in the japchae (all the veggies and spice in the japchae were a pass, personally), but try it once yourself- this place seemed legit Korean menu all the way..
My wife ordered spicy bipbimbop with medium rare beef, but the beef came cooked medium well.

We had an incredible experience at BOP Korean BBQ in Kennesaw, GA! Every single cut of meat was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor and the sauces were all delicious. The customer service was outstanding; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
All of the traditional Korean side dishes (banchan) were fantastic and so fresh — we especially loved the variety! If I had one small suggestion, it would be to bring out even more of those amazing sides, because we couldn’t get enough of them.
This is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in Kennesaw. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

E.M. Bop Korean BBQ truly delivered a top-notch dining experience. The service was absolutely great, we actually had different servers checking on us every few minutes, making sure everything was perfect the entire time. The side dishes were abundant and fresh, and whenever we placed an order for meat or anything else, it arrived in under two minutes, which was impressive. The restaurant itself felt cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for our group of five.
Highly recommend this place. Service was exceptional. The price was decent, and the tip is included for the exceptional service that was provided.

I only got take out,but I can’t wait to go in, dine and try the kbbq! Rainny was super awesome, and even though I’ve only talked to Sam on the phone, he was so helpful in directing me where to go to have some Jokbal Bossam. My takeout was DELICIOUS! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE JAPCHAE AND IT WAS SO GOOD HERE! So was the sweet&spicy KFC and I love that there were bits of tteoboki with it! I will definitely eat here again!

Great experience overall. The service was amazing—our server Lucas was attentive and quick, constantly checking on us. However, the meat selection was quite limited. I was hoping for more non-seasoned options, but even the dinner menu only offered a handful. I was also disappointed that they didn’t have any steak options, which are usually included in dinner menus elsewhere. Lettuce wraps and veggies were extra, side dishes were basic, and the meats were very fatty. I wish they offered more lean cuts.
I visited when they opened in the morning and noticed there were many pieces of trash under my table, which was disappointing.

Went in for late lunch on weekend and sat down for buffet since dinner manu is served all weekend. Who doesn’t love more choices ~
Our server, Kevin, clearly explained available buffet manu items -vs- surcharge items as this is our first visit here.
We sampled beef, pork, chicken, and seafood. All were excellent, seasoned to perfection. Whenever grill had charred build up, it was replaced with a clean one.
Excellent foods and impeccable services, we look forward to our next visit.

So happy they are opening this new location in Kennesaw. We had the $32.99 AYCE, I think it’s a great deal for the meat quality, even the beef tartare is unlimited. My personal favorite cut was the thin sliced beef short plate.
