We stopped at Dysart’s Truck Stop & Restaurant and had an amazing experience from start to finish. We grabbed breakfast and it did not disappoint, the blueberry pancakes and waffles were absolutely delicious! Fluffy, fresh, and full of flavor, just what we needed to start the day right.
The gas prices were reasonable, which is always a plus on a road trip. And don’t skip the gift shop, it’s actually really fun with a great mix of Maine themed items and quirky finds.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Dysart’s is a must stop. Great food, friendly vibes, and all-around awesome. We’ll definitely be back!

Definitely where the locals and the return visitors eat. Known for their friendly wait staff and their comfort food. Lunch and evenings are busy but the place is PACKED on a Saturday morning. For dinner, our group raved about the haddock Chowder and the chicken pot pie. Leave room for their pies and ice cream for dessert!

The food came out quickly and the pancakes were some of the best I’ve tried. The atmosphere is very friendly and easy going. We were seated immediately, but there was a delay in getting served.

I just ordered takeout (an omelette each for my fiancé and myself) and brought them home to eat. I want to start off by saying that the girl that took my order was very nice and did an excellent job. She was sweet and professional. Nothing mentioned here on in was her fault. My special lady friend’s omelette was supposed to be veggies and cheese only. I’m not quite sure which category hair falls into but the first cut of hers had a cooked-in, long black one and because shes a vegetarian I’m sure she was irritated that it was full of little pieces of mystery meat. She didn’t want me to complain but i feel that since I paid over 40 dollars for just 2 omelettes with no sides that a complaint is warranted. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here and I won’t be going back.

Sad …Real sad . I could not wait to eat here from last time was so good.Tips were like raw liver on a plate, no beef flavor or texture. Broccoli was old and tasted like cabbage. I ate very little and complained and they still left it on bill.
But bread was good as usual..
Sad truly sad I went to store and got a premade cheeseburger which was better than tips..

Not impressed. The place was recommended as a favorite among truckers and locals. However the food quality is just average. Despite the inviting name, the maple bacon scallop is a letdown. The syrup is watery and overpowering in sweetness. The scallops over-cooked and hard to chew. Staff is okay: professional and courteous but not necessarily friendly. The place does have interesting decors and that’s probably the only memorable part.

Dysart’s is one of those spots that I will always go back to! It’s been around for so long for a reason. It’s a great stopping point. The service is lightning fast, portions are huge and great value for money. Their baked goods are so tasty, true comfort food. Highly recommended.

I decided to stop at Dysarts with my mother for a quick lunch in between shopping. We have eaten in many truck stops throughout the United States and have always been pleased with the food and portions…after all, they are feeding the people who keep our country going. I ordered a cheeseburger and my mother ordered the reuben sandwich, we also ordered bone in chicken wings for a starter. The chicken wings were a joke, no meat on them whatsoever and fatty. My cheeseburger was a frozen patty, not a fresh burger, and the reuben had so little meat on it that you couldn’t even taste it through the bread. I did complain to the waitress about the chicken wings as we tried one each and left them on the table. I would have expected them to be taken off the bill, they were not. Needless to say, we left most of our food on the table…it was not even fit to take home for the dogs.
