We dined in Dynasty Dumpling after a show last night as it had good ratings on Google maps.
We were lucky to get parking right as we arrived. Mind you, there isn’t much so bare that in mind.
We arrived within an hour of closing, and this place was still quite busy. We were seated promptly. The place is bright, decor inviting and clean.
Our jasmine tea came piping hot, which suited the cool night weather.
We proceeded to order our food. The two kind ladies running the table orders and service were very efficient and helpful to all the guests who were dining. There were 3 more groups who arrived after us plus at least 5 food delivery drivers and 3 people picking up their own orders. For context, we were seated in front of the cashier’s desk and could see them coming and going.
Dinner was delicious Cantonese cuisine, contrary to some reviews. Our experience was perfect. I will let the pics of the food speak for themselves. My favorites were the dumplings, I must say. Both are very good from the dumpling wrapper/skin to the differently seasoned flavorful fillings.
Price was on point. The portions, definitely for sharing, we have plenty now for lunch today. The only pic missing is the seafood tofu soup, which also came piping hot and so delicious we forgot to take a pic.
We would definitely dine here again when back in the city.
Another plus is that the restrooms are kept very clean, for those wondering.

The Kung Pao chicken was not for me but my husband liked it so no minus points.

I’m a DoorDash driver. Last night, I picked up an order from BBQ King and delivered it to this restaurant. It was an order from one of their employees. But this morning, I received a warning from DoorDash saying they didn’t receive the order. I clearly handed it over to them last night. As soon as I entered the restaurant last night, a male waiter asked me if I was delivering the order for Wendy. I said yes and handed it to him. I even have pictures. Here are the pictures of their front desk and their work gloves. If their employees are willing to cheat for just a few dozen dollars, you can imagine how they treat their customers. Their behavior is disgusting and hateful. Such a restaurant is not worth visiting at all.

Hands down, my favorite place in San Francisco!!! This place has EXCELLENT, delicious dim sum and food.The spicy pork soup dumplings are some of the best I’ve had. Get two orders. I’ve tried the Singapore style noodles, (excellent if you want to add a mild flavorful noodle dish to your dinner spread). The staff is exceptionally kind, helpful, courteous and accommodating. The place is clean and inviting. The food is delicious. Thank you Ken, Jessica, Andy and Yia-Yia. Go and eat in for the lunch specials and dinner! Try the egg yolk custard buns too! Best thing ever. I’ve had the Mongolian Beef, Beef with String Beans, Singapore Noodles, Shu Mai, BBQ pork buns, all delicious never had a bad meal here! Go! It’s delicious

My wife and I made an impromptu decision for dinner, and glad we picked the right place! The food was delicious and not greasy or added sodium. I ordered the salmon/avocado/egg/rice dish and my wife got 8 vegetable dumplings and vegetable noodles. Very generous portions to all the dishes! My salmon rice had the right flavors of savory and creamy. The noodles were not greasy and the vegetables added crisp flavor. The dumplings look house made and were packed with vegetables. Service was excellent! A great find and great food. Price was on point. We will come back!

We had a great meal at Dynasty Dumpling. The restaurant was clean and bright, and we enjoyed the wall of little decorations. Service was quick, friendly and helpful. I loved the steamed veggie dumplings and scallion pancakes I ordered. I’d eat here again any time!

I was just walking around and saw that this place had good reviews. I am not usually one to wonder into random Chinese restaurants mostly because people don’t realize there are several cuisines within China, but very glad I did with this place. Turns out it was a Cantonese style cooking.
It is very well priced along with having your typical “American” Chinese food and you get traditional Cantonese style food. The restaurant is also clean, modern and stylish along with the dinnerware.
I got the Dan Dan Noodles and fried juicy pork buns. I would get again and come back again.

If Dynasty Dumpling would lower their lights a little, I would have given them a 5 stars on atmosphere, but it’s really bright inside! The food and service are great. We ordered a corn and meat dumpling that was out of this world delicious. The Pork Bao had a hint of ginger which made their Bao stand out above all others. The vegetables with shrimp was really fresh. I think I’ll go back tonight!

We didn’t try the dumplings which is what this place is supposed to be known for, so you’d have to take that into account. The non dumpling dishes that we tried were just average at best, not particularly tasty but not horrible either, overall would not try again given that there are many other more delicious restaurants at the same price point. We had the beef chow fun (bland, and several clumps, though not too greasy), walnut shrimp (big shrimp but not many), jie lan vegetable (garlic sauce just ok, very light, I guess good for people who prefer dishes to be on the lighter flavor side), cumin lamb (bigger thicker pieces of lamb than other places but definitely with meat tenderizer), dry fried green beans (very wet sauce as opposed to usual dry stir fry, not very flavorful). Portion sizes were decent for price, that may be redeeming point. We got carryout and ordered at the restaurant rather online since we were in the neighborhood. Food was ready quickly, not a long wait, though we were there off peak on the early side around 3pm.
