I am very disappointed at this restaurant now. Couple days ago, I have ordered 3 dishes: 1. roasted pork; 2. roasted duck; 3. sweet and sour pork chop; #1 is ok, but #2 and #3 are very disappointed, the roasted duck is cheaper than the one in Great Wall restaurant, however, the quality is not good at all; the sweet and sour pork is very mushy, and even my 11 year old kid did not like it. When I went there on 1/23/2026, the male owner, who is the main chef was not there, so I saw 1 man and 1 woman in the kitchen cooking all the food, so maybe the chef just did a bad job, not sure. Oh, one more thing, the white rice is very stale, hard, and tastes weird, could be the worse rice I have ever had in a restaurant. Sorry, very disappointed!

We highly recommend going to D&Y Chinese for Authentic amazing food. We definetly will be going back. The appetizers we started off with were Potstickers and Fried Shrimp as well as a House Soup of the Day. Our meal entrées were Salt and Pepper Lobster, Singapore Rice Noodle, Seafood and Tofu Hotpot, Sweet and Sour Pork Chop, a be Mu Shu Pork. You definetly will thank me for giving this place a try

My favorite Chinese dish is Orange spicy Chicken. That’s mostly what I order. So my critique is on that dish. I have tried most places within 3mi. from my house. My issue with this dish is.. the dinner combo offers fried rice. From the pic, this is nothing more than white steamed rice with something brown added on top. You can see white rice in it. Not true fried rice. The chicken was a bunch of fried??? Much of It was not edible chicken pieces. Maybe they’re Good at making other dishes, but this isn’t one of them!!:( … for $13 with Tax, it wasn’t money well spent.

The potions are big but the food tasted awful. Everyone at the dinner table hated the fried rice. The rice was tasteless and the chicken tasted weird. It had a weird smell and awful after taste. The crab puffs were drenched in oil. Also the soy sauce is red and has a completely different taste.

I always order the House fried rice and it’s delicious every time. This place is located right next to my hair salon where I work so it is always quick and convenient. The people that work here have all been friendly each time I’ve ordered.

D&Y Chinese Food is a bit hit or miss. Most of the time the food is decent, but sometimes it feels like a totally different restaurant. The place is usually empty, and if you linger too long, the staff can make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them. Their hours can also be inconsistent—they seem to keep their own schedule.

Ordered food online on a Sunday around 12:15pm and it said it would be ready in 20 mins and my bf went to pick it up and was given a hard time and was told it wasn’t ready yet but turns out it was when someone else helped him.
We ordered from the lunch menu. I got sweet and sour pork, and he did the garlic honey with sauce on the side. The sauce tasted good. The meat itself had an aftertaste. I couldn’t eat everything, and egg roll was mushy inside.
The crab puffs were good, though.
