DX is a great place to grab a late night meal. It is mainly beneficial to on campus students, who depend on dining halls for their meals. However, when you haven’t had dinner yet and the dining halls are all closed, it can be a real lifesaver. The food is simple (mainly burgers and wraps), but when you’re starving late at night, you’re not complaining one bit.

As an employee, I have enjoyed my experience and truly recommend anyone looking for an on campus job to consider DXpress or any of the dining halls in Dietrick Hall. All of the employees are pretty level-headed and chill and the pay and free food is great! Also there are so many hours to choose from so you can work at any part of the day. The food might be a bit overpriced, but you get free food too for working for Hokie dining so I recommend

DX is possibly the best place to get food on campus after 11pm. And by best place, I of course mean only place. DX is fairly expensive if you don’t have a meal plan, but some of their options, such as the chicken tenders, are quite delicious. The staff is friendly and won’t judge you if you show up completely wasted.
