We ordered takeout last week. First time ordering from D’Vinci’s. The food was pretty good. They have a cute little area in back with seating. They were on time with the order. It was easy to order and pick up. They share an entrance with another business but it easy to tell which doors belongs to them. We would order from them again in the future. Let me share some photos of their food — and yes, it was hot when we picked it up! Even after driving home, it was still hot.

I first tried a D’Vinci’s about 15 years ago and ordered the Super Sub and have only ordered that exact sandwich each and every time I come back. It’s like no other sandwich, you have to try it. I order it without tomatoes, cucumbers or onions. Tip: order the Parmesan garlic dipping sauce for a side and dive in. My only complaint is the meat portions have definitely been reduced by about 50% since I started ordering it. Maybe next time I’ll try and order double meat if that’s a thing…

If I could I give 10 stars for the atmosphere because the stained glass ceiling brought back a wonderful childhood memory for me when my mom took me for lunch at the location that used to be in Watertown. I still remember staring at the stained glass ceilings at that location and being in awe about it.

Have you had “White” pizza? I recommend getting the Chicken Alfredo pizza at D’Vinci’s. We also had a large order of bread sticks, which were awesome with the marinara sauce! The bread sticks appear to be a tasty thin crust pizza with a light cheese topping, the result is crispy dip-able sticks. As for the pizza, it was so good we wanted to bring some home, but instead ate the whole thing there. Thin cut chicken which was tender enough to come apart with each bite so we didn’t have toppings pulling off with the chicken.

This place is a classic!! Best soup and salad. They give you so much food for such a fair price. Employees are sweet knowledgeable about the menu and so helpful!!

Ate in. Shared chicken alfredo, lasagna and a pizza. Dessert, creme brule and caramel bundt cake. Also had the cheese soup!!
It was SO good! Lasagna was my favorite. Our server was fantastic. Friday night at 6, had to wait a bit….but worth it!!

There was a mixup with our order tonight that caused a considerable delay and we were hungry and grumpy. It was how Teresa (i think was her name) handled the situation that ultimately made it a great experience. She was graceful and it ultimately was a great dinner and service. Kudos to Davinncis and especially Teresa (I think).

Thin crust pizza is great. Not greasy at all. It takes a little more time but it is well with it. Spaghetti was good also. They have nice lunch specials with salad bar. The side salad are large and fresh. Friendly and caring staff. We will be back again in the near future.

Title: A Vintage Experience: D’Vinci’s Restaurant Review

A visit to D’Vinci’s restaurant serves a hearty helping of nostalgia with a side of takeaway pizza. Walking into D’Vinci’s, we felt a wave of the past wash over us as we stepped into an environment straight out of the 90s. Though it bears an old-world charm, the restaurant seems to be clinging to a bygone era, creating an atmosphere that struggles to capture the present. Awarding a modest rating of three out of five stars, we find the need to highlight certain areas for improvement.

The decor, though charmingly antiquated, falls short of creating an inviting ambiance. Instead, it echoes more of a vintage residential setting, like stepping into grandma’s home. Though some might find comfort in this familiarity, the setting felt rather outdated and failed to provide the modern dining experience we desired. More problematic was the limited seating that made accommodating larger groups a challenge.

Despite the lack of an enticing atmosphere, D’Vinci’s seems to excel in its takeaway service. The bustling parking lot, a testament to the restaurant’s popularity, was primarily filled with patrons picking up pizza for takeout. The robust business on this front is a clear indication of where D’Vinci’s real strength lies – their takeaway pizza.

In terms of the dining menu, the dishes were on the milder side, lacking the culinary punch that modern palates often crave. While the food wasn’t poor, it didn’t stand out either, contributing to an overall mediocre dining experience.

Where D’Vinci’s did shine was in their customer service. The staff were courteous and professional, a definite plus in an otherwise lukewarm visit.

However, with prices that didn’t quite match the quality of the dining experience, we felt the value for money was a tad skewed. One would expect more in terms of ambiance and culinary flair for the cost.

Our verdict? D’Vinci’s might serve as a novel trip down memory lane for a nostalgic night out, but if you’re looking for a more contemporary dining experience, you might be better off grabbing a pizza to go. With some modern upgrades and an emphasis on enhancing the in-house dining experience, we believe D’Vinci’s could potentially shine brighter, thus attracting a broader spectrum of customers. For now, it’s a humble 3-star rating from us, with room for improvement.

The pizza had no flavor and I mean none. The crust is my favorite part of any pizza and I didn’t eat it because it was tasteless. For the 1st time ever I was gonna put salt on my pizza but I didn’t want the extra sodium.
