I have been going to the Dari Bar since I was a child and I have always enjoyed going! Friendly faces, great food, and tasty treats! New owners took over last year and they have done such a wonderful job! I can’t wait to see what they do next! This year they started making a grilled chicken wrap and it is so delicious! They also started serving soups as the days grew colder plus a side of homemade sweet cornbread! They are so warm and filling! If you haven’t tried either of these items, you better!

Our daughter, me, and 3 kids had dinner before heading home. We had hamburgers, grilled cheese, shredded chicken, fries, and onion rings. Then had ice cream and Turtle sundae. The picky kids ate all. Everything was delicious! I enjoyed the sundae, lots of pecans. Granddaughter had the longest curly fry! Prices were not bad, good food!

This was not my intended stop, but I’ll tell you what, it was well worth the visit. The staff was so much fun, and you guys came in clutch when I needed a hot drink. Thank you!

As a “national traveler” I have been to 46 states. We always choose to support the independent business, wherever we are. When we visited the DariBar this week we fell in love, local beef, (best hamburgers) local owner, (best ice cream) and incredible ambiance, sporting Americana through its veins. A treasure. Should be on the national “Americana establishment” list. A must see! A must taste. Amazing.

Do not stop here for a Soft Serve cone. I ordered a small and was served a baby size cone. One bite off the top and you are ready to eat the cone. The small sundae was a decent amount of ice cream. Been here many times, but will keep on driving past. Other Dairy stops will be open soon. I have ordered hundreds of small cones in my lifetime and this is by far the smallest I have ever been served. I wish I had taken a picture. Why would a business operate this way.

Good service, excellent hamburger with a large variety of good ice cream treats to choose from. All for a good price. Definitely be back here again.

The Dutchtown Dari Bar or “dairy queen” as we always used to call it used to be my absolute favorite place to go every spring and summer. It wasn’t anything fancy or flashy, but it had what makes New Washington wonderful–great community and quality products.

When I heard the business had changed ownership, I knew there would likely be changes. Finally was able to go out with my family and some friends from college who have heard all my stories about the place, and try out some of our favorites.

I was grateful to see that they still use real fruit in their ice cream, which many other commercial places have stopped doing. However, the ice cream in all our flurries was not the same quality thickness/richness. It still tasted good, but was super runny and made the other toppings soggy. Never a problem I’ve experienced there before.

The new ownership offers online ordering, regularly updated website/social media, and even a loyalty program. All great things, but it was disappointing to see the quality I’ve known for 25 years drop for the first time. I pray this is just a transition thing that will be resolved as the new owners figure things out. I definitely want this place to thrive!

Everything is always good and prices are fair. Only complaint is the pricing structure of the flurries makes no sense. Cost for large is 45c per oz price for Med is 34c per oz. Just bothers me every time I look at it. Wouldn’t it make more sense to incentivize the customer to purchase more at the same pricing of 34c @ 20oz $7 instead of 9?

Absolutely love the shredded chicken and BBQ beef. The tenderloin is fantastic. The ice cream is always amazing!

The girl was nice enough taking an order but it took about a half hour for a so-called pizza burger and another 15 minutes for a fry. I also got a large chocolate shake which was smaller than a 20 oz. Sprite Burger had no sauce, was very dry and made with. Looks like some type of yellow cheese not not anything Italian. This was the worst sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I couldn’t even finish it and I’m starving
