We came in on a Tuesday night for dinner they had a live band playing outside, people dancing or sitting next to a warm firepit on this cold Tuesday evening. There’s indoor dining if you don’t want to sit outside. This is a walk up order restaurant and the server will bring it to your table. The BBQ itself is a Carolina BBQ not bad at all I highly recommend the ribs over the turkey and sausage. There’s a bar $6.50 for domestic beers. This is a great place for large groups but I do recommend coming early or maybe making a reservation for parties and groups.

The food brings great Texas Style BBQ to Arizona. Hand crafted and scratch made. Culinary inspired sides are also top notch. The service is great, friendly staff. The atmosphere is great. The restaurants gives the appearance that its been there for years, the details throughout out and leading the back outdoor patio that overlooks an incrdible view of the Superstition Mountains. Worth the trip.

While exploring the area by car, I discovered this wonderful hidden gem. The service was outstanding, the ambiance was perfectly executed, and the entire establishment was impeccably clean. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared—making it a place I will definitely return to. Highly recommended. Best BBQ around.

Ok let me begin by saying I am a VEGETARIAN. That being said this was one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile. I got the quesadilla without meat- it had poblanos onions and bell peppers and was huge. Also came with pico pickled onions and a homemade sour cream that was so good. I got the Mac and cheese side and also the elote and OMG. Bother were unbelievable. My wife had the loaded baked potato’s and she had them put the meat on the side and that was sooo good. It’s not often that the potato itself with nothing on it was full of flavor. Next time I’m getting that and a side of elote and putting it on top. The cornbread was very good also. Had an ipa and it was cold and good, lots of beers on tap. We live a half mile away and I’ve been hesitant to try this as it is rare that I would actually enjoy a bbq place but I will 100% be back. Live music and good outdoor atmosphere. I can imagine this place is overran with snowbirds on the weekend as it was pretty busy on a Wednesday.

Dutchman’s was absolutely amazing. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We ordered the five-meat sampler platter with a side of mac and cheese, and everything came out hot and incredibly delicious.
The manager and chef even came out to talk to our table and were super friendly, which made the experience feel extra special. We also tried a few different cocktails—each one was beautiful and delicious, and the bartender had such a great, upbeat personality.
The live music and the views really took the experience to another level. It also was super easy for us to get a big party in quickly (Including Furry Friends). We will absolutely be back

We happened to be camping nearby and were so happy to accidentally find this place after it only opened 2 weeks ago!

The food was amazing, especially the meats themselves! Incredibly tender fall-apart Brisket, the Pulled Pork was meaty and juicy and the fat was rendered perfectly, no gross textures at all, and the Ribs were some of the best I’ve had recently. The sauces were all hits, perfectly balanced sweet and tangy, I especially liked the original and gold. I want to come back and try the Pork Belly Lollipops because of everything was this good, they have to be amazing!

The “Fun” Potatoes are kind of like a loaded potato cube casserole (they compared it to “Funeral” potatoes) and was really good, especially with the crunch of the bacon and green onion on top. I was kind of confused by the cornbread because it was described as “cornbread poppers” which made me think it would be some kind of hushpuppy type thing, but it was actually a jalapeño “popper” flavored cornbread. Which was delicious! I was just confused by the word order. The Jalapeño + Chipotle Smoked Gouda Mac n Cheese was decent, good amount of creamy cheese and the right kind of pasta.

Loaded potato was a bit over-seasoned for my taste (salt wise) but other than that, the combination of flavors and textures was spot on. I loved the crunch of the fried jalapeño with everything.

We also got the Old Fashioned and the Basil Bourbon Blackberry drinks and both were really good, they really thought about what type/brand of bourbon to use in these to make the drink shine with the flavors!

My only complaints were that there was no sound dampening inside so it was a cacophony of overwhelming sound (which unfortunately seems to be a common problem with restaurants recently) and that the metal chairs were really uncomfortable (weirdly I keep running into these specific chairs everywhere recently, something about those metal rods attached to the seat at the side makes it hard to sit in unless you’re tiny)

Overall I LOVED this place, I can’t wait to come back in the future and try more things, I hope they keep up the amazing quality they’ve established. Thank you to the entire house team making this happen, as this is one of the best BBQ places I’ve been to in a while. Such a wonderful surprise treat on our trip!

Wow wow wow. Maybe the best brisket burger ever! No joke. I am a huge fan at the first visit. Order food at the counter and delivered to your table. Also full bar service. Everyone was super nice and bartenders made rounds to order additional drinks. Atmosphere thru the roof. Amazing outside views of the Superstitions. Picnic table seating outside. Also fire pits to hang out next too. Only negative were the flys until the sun went down and they disappeared. I will go back…. Unfortunately 45 min drive

We stopped in at Dutchman’s Country BBQ tonight, and wow—what a find! The food is absolutely incredible. The brisket is the best I’ve ever had—perfectly smoked and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The ribs, pulled pork, jalapeño sausage, baked beans, jalapeño cornbread, and Gouda mac and cheese were all phenomenal. For only their second night open, the staff ran things like pros—friendly, attentive, and on point. This place is going to be something special for our little corner of the world. Highly recommend!

Update:
We went back to Dutchman’s Country BBQ tonight 11/7— this time with a group of 10 friends on a busy Friday night. The place was packed, and once again the food was phenomenal. The brisket, ribs, sausage… everything was just as incredible as our first visit. The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and on point even with a full house. Every single one of our friends raved about their meals.

Dutchman’s is officially our new go-to BBQ spot. ⭐️

First time at DCB and it did not disappoint. We had the brisket tacos with an amazing cheese crisp around the edge, the pork belly lollipop that’s melted in your mouth, the loaded baked potato with pulled pork and the jalapeno cornbread. For dessert we had the banana pudding, it was creamy with banana and milk wafers. Everything was delish and very reasonably priced. If you’re in the mesa area definitely stop in!
