It should be a crime to drive by this place when it’s open and NOT stop for a loaf fresh baked bread, homemade dessert, or sandwich. Everything is super fresh and even the simplest sandwich tastes out of this world. So much thoughtful care goes into preparing food here, and it shows.

Large Beautiful fall mums for a good price! And try they’re Das Jam Haus branded jams and jellies! They are hand cooked in small batches and have great flavor and they are known for they’re chunks of fruit in the jam. Got to be some of the best jam there is!!! The Das Jam Haus pie filling is amazing to.

I have visited this Meninite owned bakery several times over 20 years. It is a very popular spot with a full parking lot when it’s open. They have a well stocked meat and cheese market that is known for making sandwiches at lunchtime. My visits have always been for the bakery side of the store. They have quite an assortment of bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and more. This is definitely a destination spot. It is just off of HWY 157 north of Cullman, AL, and is easy to find thanks to the large sign at the highway turn-off. I recommend it!

Great little shop with baked goods and desserts. They have all sorts of goodies and the deli side serves sandwiches. I loved my delux bologna sandwich! The specialty bread I bought was okay but the sourdough I ordered on my sandwich was great. The blueberry swirl cheesecake was delicious!

A wonderful place. I live about 90 minutes from the Dutch Oven and it’s always well worth the drive. Always love the freshly baked breads and pastries and the folks there treat you like family. Love the Christian atmosphere in the store. Many unique items available there. Highly recommend it to anyone.
