The only bakery near me that would/could make me a lemon cake with raspberry and whipped frosting filling. Oh my goodness it was sublime! It was so good my family ordered another exactly the same as the first. Seriously, their bakery is second to none.

The chicken salad sandwich was good. Freshly made. I tried their homemade bone broth too. They serve it as a beverage rather than a soup. It was different, but very tasty.

I used to love coming to this bakery all the time about 15+ years ago. The last 2 times I ordered from them the order was messed up. The first time was a few years ago and it was the wrong frosting on a birthday cake (vanilla instead of chocolate). The second time was a few weeks ago. I ordered 3 dozen cupcakes with a certain design. The top dozen was correct, but the bottom 2 dozen had half the cupcakes with plain yellow swirl frosting rather than the design I asked for. I ended up with an entire dozen of plain yellow cupcakes that were mixed in with the others. The shower was sunflowers themed, so I had asked for sunflowers on each cupcake. The yellow swirl was also a slightly different tint than the sunflowers. I guess I learned to check the entire order if I ever order again before leaving. They did apologize for not checking with me before changing the design I asked for. The cookies I also ordered were great but also not the design I saw on their website and asked for. Everything is pricey and they can’t tell you an estimated price when you order.

We absolutely love Dutch Maid!! In fact, my husband and I have made it our favorite place to go for our weekly brunch date. We enjoy trying out their new selections of treats, and being amazed by their fun and fantastically decorated sugar cookies that change every few weeks, though we have our standing favorites, too. Plus, many people might not know that they have delicious food, too! Definitely check out their menu. Also, the staff is incredibly friendly, which is part of why we keep going back. The inside atmosphere is very relaxing and cute as well, so we like dining in, but of course you can get your goodies to go, too. We tell people all the time how much we like going to Dutch Maid. Overall, would highly recommend!!

Called to order mini cookies and was told as long as I called by Monday for that following weekend pickup it would be fine. Called Monday and was told I couldn’t order but they did have same cookies in various colors in store to purchase. I went into store and needed a dozen of three of the colors, was told I couldn’t choose which colors I wanted and I would need to purchase colors of their choice. I have ordered these cookies in the past days in advance of pickup with no problem and times I did buy from the case I was able to choose which ones I wanted. I chose to pass on the cookies considering they were for a baby shower and I didn’t want pink. Definitely not the same Dutch Maid I’ve known in the past.
