Loved the food – good selection of meat and sides and everything we had tasted fab the fried chicken was definitely the best I’d had in a real long time and the mash & gravy was spot on seems to be a hit with the locals as quite a few workers stopped in at the same time. Plenty of seating, very hospitable servers who were attentive and checked on us a couple of times. They have a good selection of bakery items and homemade condiments and pickles. Restrooms were clean. Highly recommend for the taste of the food and moreover, for the great value

Delicious southern cooking with quality local ingredients. This was one of my mother’s favorite places to eat when traveling to and from her Glenwood, GA home town. I recently got the chance to eat there for the first time and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had country style steak and gravy, fried chicken, fried catfish, and smoked ribs. For sides, we had macaroni and cheese, broccoli casserole, sweet potato casserole, Lima beans, and collard greens. All delicious, but the Mac and cheese was my favorite!

We stopped on a trip not knowing what to expect. You can order off a menu or cafeteria style. Good home cooking. The fried chicken was great. Seasoned well and not overly greasy. Comfort food served in a super friendly small town eatery. Do not pass up the Mac and cheese.

Wow…. just wow… this place is beyond great. Wish this had an above and beyond star. It is set up like a cafeteria. The food was great. I got the catfish, broccoli stuff, yams and cabbage with a slice of coconut cream pie. Wow I was stuffed. The waitress was very great. There is also a bakery attached, with all you guilty pleasures. If you are close to this place, it should be a must to stop by and just have a taste. Wow well worth it. Prices are good also. Can’t say enough good things.

The atmosphere was cozy and warm. The food was very good and they were so kind. I went with several friends of mine, whom one had a birthday. They sure did surprise her with a delicious piece of their scrumptious brownie pie with vanilla ice cream. They also sang a heart felt happy birthday and had a candle for her to blow out. What a lovely place to be with friends.

Good eats from their bakery. If you’re hungry. Their resturant has great food and service. Not been here in eleven years. We ate here often while visiting my dad at VA in Augusta. Always a pleasant experience. My wife and mother loved the bakery. I held out for the catfish. Just good home cooking.

We were passing by on our way down to Florida and decided to stop to grand a bite. The chicken was delicious! The owner came to our table and tapped me on the shoulder and asked if everything was ok; that’s what I call southern hospitality! Totally recommend this place if you are in the area. Loved it!

The service was Excellent! ! Food was Delicious, best fried chicken, I have ever ate!! I eaten a lot of chicken in 58 yrs too. Everything was Wonderful. My Mama, sister and I ate here and we all agreed Best Food we have had in a long time. Usually you find at least one thing bad or wrong !! But Not here , we didn’t find not the first thing wrong or bad !!!
