Solid eating experience with excellent service. We went in for a quick bite in the afternoon and the food was exactly what we needed – no frills, filling, good, and a perfect pairing with beer.
Our server was ready with the next beer as soon as I ran low and we never had to wait around to get noticed.

I came here on Wednesday evening, October 22nd. The bartenders, both female, were very friendly. I felt very welcomed the minute I sat down at the bar. Everyone was very friendly inside the bar. The beer on tap was delicious after a 12 hour day at work. I ordered their smoked brisket platter, and it was very good. It reminded me of the brisket that I have gotten in Galveston and Corpus Christy, Texas. It wasn’t quite as tender as theirs, but it was close. The slaw and fries were great, too. I did feel bad for the main bartender at the bar because she was being a little sexually harassed about her breasts, and she wasn’t wearing anything revealing at all. She handled it very well with a laugh and a smile. Then, a cold shoulder, which i could see made the guy uncomfortable. She is an awesome bartender, and both were very kind. I would definitely go back to this saloon if I’m sent to Kalispell again.

Dean and I wandered into the Dusty Star Saloon in Kalispell for some snacks and a hard cider. Let’s just say, the cider didn’t last long, and neither did the snacks.
KJ was tending bar. She was friendly, quick with a smile, and probably wondering how two guys could inhale food that fast. Great spot, great people… and now Dean claims he’s a “regular.” We’ve been there once.

We enjoyed the food and service. Nice sized portions. The fries were great – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They had (3) BBQ sauces but we only liked the original – other two were Wild Turkey and Habanero Peach. The meat had a great smoked flavor. Between the three of us, we had the 1/4 chicken, ribs, and pulled pork. The chicken and ribs were great. Our waitress was very friendly and good. Mondays had a 1/2 off pints so that was a good deal!

Great atmosphere, great friendly staff and best of all, great food! We had Famous Dave’s the night before and weren’t impressed, tried here tonight and we’ll be back again before we leave Montana! Super friendly staff, prompt to take our order and answer a few questions about my allergies! Everyone walking by makes sure you don’t need anything, not just your server! The ribs and brisket were absolutely delicious! The chicken wasn’t my thing but in my opinion, everything else made up for it so i wasn’t even slightly disappointed! They had live music in the bar but we sat towards the back in a smaller dining room, music levels were perfect and make the atmosphere that much better for a Saturday night out!

My friend and I went here last night after having wanted to check it out forever (you know those spots you just never get to somehow??) and were slightly disappointed as the menu did not match the one posted on their website. The options were much more limited and some of the things we had been looking forward to trying were not available. I’m not sure if the menu has changed or if they just trim it down on weekends, but it was a bit of a bummer regardless. The food we did have was great – would just like to know why all options weren’t available! The service was also good and we want to come back another time to play some pinball and grab some drinks.

If you’re in town, stop by this place. Great BBQ food. I had the brisket plate, and my buddy had the ribs plate. Both were excellent. The jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon were great as well, it comes with four. My pic only shows two since we ate the other two.Pour some of their sauce on and enjoy.

Visiting from Florida so was our first time. The bartenders were great, friendly regulars and great food. Had a great entertainer singing a variety of music and very much enjoyed his interaction with the customers. Highly recommend if you’re first timers and looking for a friendly bar. Don’t know if it’s kid friendly as I didn’t see any kids so that’s something I can’t speak on.

It was quite frankly the worst $70 I’ve ever spent. The food was terrible. I asked for a medium brisket burger and it was bright pink all the way through. My Buffalo wings were not cooked all the way through either. I do not recommend eating at this place. The staff was nice the atmosphere was good, bud the food was terrible.
