We were traveling back to Indiana from Southport, NC, and this place just happened to be on the right side of the road and had outdoor seating. We had our dog with us, so that was key. I bought a supreme pizza and asked for wings with whatever sweet sauce they had. I think it was a sweet Thai chili sauce or something. I also picked up a little Jesus figurine to sit in the window for the rest of the trip. We tried to sit outside to eat, but the bees immediately attacked our food. Sitting in the car with a pizza and wings and a dog is less than ideal, but the SECOND I put one of those wings in my mouth I couldn’t have cared less. I told my husband (who was gobbling down a slice of pizza) that he’d better hurry up and get one before I ate them all. He sweetly told me to go ahead and do that. Maybe he saw the crazed look in my eyes and the sauce all over my face and hands and decided he might get bitten, idk. I’m usually the one who eats less and gives him anything left on my plate. Not this time! I ate the whole order and had a slice of pizza too. (Which was excellent, even though I was already full, which means it was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had because usually nothing tastes good if I’m full). All I can say is, if this place was in my neighborhood, I’d gain 40 lbs. We carried the little Jesus all the way back to Indiana, but I wish we could’ve brought Dusina’s with us too.

I’ve been coming here since HS and it has never disappointed.
Not much room to dine in but most people do takeout anyways!

Great people and great food. Can’t ask for much more!

There’s just no easy way to say this…from the very first bite all the way until I stopped pretending that it didn’t, this pizza tasted like and looked like Dominos or some other fast food type pizza. From being somewhat overcooked to the canned-tasting sauce to the meager amount of cheese to the thick, doughy crust, it just wasn’t good. The mushrooms were rubbery and squeaked like cheese curds when I chewed them. Dusina’s does not even offer garlic as a topping. I should have taken this as a bad sign— is fresh garlic not a staple in a restaurant that serves pizza and other Italian dishes? Why is garlic not on hand? Don’t they cook with it?

I feel bad saying all this because the people who work there were really friendly and the price was excellent— but there is no getting around it—this was my experience. They have a thriving carryout business and really good reviews. This mystifies me. Maybe the locals know something I don’t. Or perhaps I know something THEY don’t.

Excellent food and service along with a welcoming atmosphere. I had the philly cheese steak and I highly recommend! This small business restaurant takes pride in the food , along with being very personable with the customers. If you are in the Midway / Welcome area, I highly recommend Dusina’s Pizza for a great lunch or Dinner.

Always great service no matter how busy they can be. We always come for the cheese pepperoni pizza and plain Xtra crispy wings. Never disappoints!

Incredible food and even better people. Our absolute favorite wings you can get anywhere. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. We love this place so much. Highly recommend.

I eat at Dusina’s at least once a week. Working in Welcome means overtime I’ve eaten just about everywhere in the immediate area, and Dusina’s is my top pick for lunch. The staff have always been friendly, the food is excellent, and the wait time is short.

The only two cons to note are parking can be difficult, and it’s only open wed-sat. The first con is understandable simply because of the size of land, so the lot fills fast. The second con is only a negative because of how much I enjoy eating here. But I understand the spacing out of their workweek too. It’s a lot of folks to feed.

If you find yourself in the area on one of the open days, you should absolutely try Dusina’s. Their ribeye steak sub is universally praised around here, and for good reason. I regularly get the fried chicken salad, which is in my opinion, the best in this area. Their gluten free pizza crust is also excellent, and genuinely tastes as good as flour.
