High expectations, but the value fell short for us.
I really wanted to love this spot after seeing the social media buzz and the local hype, but our experience was a bit of a letdown for the price point. We spent over $76 on a large pie and four sandwiches, and unfortunately, it didn’t feel like a great value.
The sandwiches were on the smaller side (about 10 inches) and were very bread-heavy; we would have loved to see more meat and toppings to balance out the sub. The pizza was a standard thin “football” style, but it lacked the flavor punch we were hoping for. I don’t mind paying a premium for a great meal, but I hope they consider beefing up their portions to match the pricing.

Visited twice while in the area… Great food and great service. Veal and eggplant and broccoli rabe were great! Only complaint is the lousy bread .. not real Italian bread! Will definitely go back when in the area!!

Orders are always correct and the serving sizes are ample! They give you lots of extra bread with a large order, too. Everything is great, from the salads to the apps to the pastas to the pizzas!

We came here after an 8th grade graduation and it hit the spot for Italian food! Everything we ordered was great. I got the chicken francese, which is on the lemony side, and we ordered some pasta and the cheesesteak (phenomenal!!!). Their service was superb too! Our food came out fast and the server was super nice. We also just ordered catering for a future party, and I cannot wait to try out some more of their food. I would totally reccomend coming here if you’re in the area!

***Update: I changed from 5 stars to 3 or 4 because I spent 40$ on 1 dinner and 2 wraps that did not come with fries or chips. In my opinion, it should have at least came with a side. Food is good though.

This is the quintessential New Jersey pizza place. The I grew up on. Family owned, very friendly staff. Pizza is great. Not too thin. Not too thick. Also dinner options are very good. Love the Parm dishes. Daily specials available. Also, very reasonable prices.

I saw Dave Portnoy reviewed the place I got a slice. It was very good. I give it 8.2. My son got the grilled chicken Caesar salad, and I got their chicken cutlet salad. Both were amazing.
