When have you EVER heard me gush over a restaurant meal? Get ready… today we stopped off at Durham’s Pit BBQ (in business 6 years & nobody told me what I was missing ). We were in route to Cumberland Falls & did a search for best places to eat. Yelp was not wrong!!! Absolutely, positively THE BEST 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, 2 , 10/10, more tender than a mother’s love & so good it doesn’t NEED BBQ sauce to enhance the flavor. We’re talking “smack your mama” & “lip smacking” good! Since we hadn’t been there before, they kindly treated us to samples of their brisket, turkey & meatloaf. Yum!!!We had a tastebud explosion of flavor on all of them. We ended up with the 3 meat dinner to share. It made us 4 meals. Absolutely worth a roadtrip from Lexington to London. It’s about the food…you can’t EAT ambiance. Better than ANY BBQ I’ve EVER tasted….EVER! We WILL be back! If you’re anywhere close to London, KY & haven’t eaten there, WHY? If you had REAL friends, they would already have told you about Durham’s!!!

I’m an old retired guy with nothing better to do than to ride my motorcycle around a 100mile radius of my house, and stop in at restaurants along the way. The round trip to Durham’s is around 220 miles, and worth every mile. The Durham’s crew have got be be getting tired of seeing me, because I stop in at ;east every other week!
Food: I always get the Pulled Chicken Basket, with a 1/4 lbs of either more pulled chicken, meatloaf, or brisket on the side (lots of food!) As I said, I go to lots of restaurants, and this is the best BBQ of which I am aware. Brisket seems like it’s tough for lots of BBQ joints to get right. Durham’s the the best brisket I know of; similar to a batch of fall-off-the-bone ribs.
Service: Always fast and friendly. As I said, they should be tried of seeing me by now, but they always meet me with a smile and friendly conversation. These are very good people.
Atmosphere: Nice and clean seating area, tables, and bathrooms, with the option of eating at covered picnic tables outside…..and Cool Awesome Music! They play real blues music through the speakers all day! I’m not sure where they get the playlist, but it fits the BBQ & Blues theme just right!
Motorcycle season has gotten away from me for a few months, but, once I’ve worked off the Thanksgiving lbs, I will soon need to “ride” the Jeep to London, just for some Durham’s!

The people are incredibly kind, you’re treated like family from the moment you arrive. The food is fantastic. Their meatloaf is unbelievably moist and packed with flavor, and the BBQ Nachos are hands down my favorite. They’re smoky, messy in the best way, and totally addictive.

We were traveling through and really wanted some good BBQ. Went searching and based off reviews decided on Durham’s. I am so glad we decided to go for it. It was worth the little extra time off the highway.
Matt, our server/bartender was so nice, welcoming, and willing to give suggestions on what would be the best things to order and what sauces went well with it.
Our food came out promtly, and had great plate presentation and portions!
We ordered the pulled pork sandwich platter ( came with 2 sides) and the pulled pork Nachos!!

We found this place randomly while on the hunt for Mexican food lol. So glad we came in. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. The pulled pork is absolutely delicious and don’t get me started on that brisket meatloaf bc it was to die for! The prices are more than reasonable! Can’t wait to come back and try other things!!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner. We both order the brisket sandwich basket with waffle fries and I ordered a side of baked beans. The food was amazing. The buns were buttered and toasted, brisket almost melted it was so tender and the sides were hot and delicious. I can’t wait to make anither trip to London.

I walked into this BBQ joint expecting the usual “decent but overpriced” experience, and instead I left with a mild meat coma and sauce on parts of my body I didn’t know could get dirty.
The waiter saw me crying into my cornbread (tears of joy, obviously) and just silently refilled my sweet tea without judgment. That’s customer service.
10/10 would sell my firstborn for another plate. (Relax, I don’t have kids. Yet. But after this meal, I’m considering adopting just to make the trade.)
Come hungry. Leave happy. Waddle out like a very satisfied penguin.

Randomly swung through London, KY on our way to Lexington, and we found this wonderful place. Missus was feeling under the weather and wasn’t excited until she tried it.
The tastiest brisket sandwich we’ve had in a long time. Really friendly, fast service.
Only wish I’d picked up coleslaw to put on it. Got the lattice fries, which were pretty good, but the star of the show was the brisket sandwich (with hot bbq sauce). Tender, soft, with easy bites.
