Durbin farms has been one of our must stops on every trip! We hardly ever pass exit 205 without stopping in! This trip we were going to the beach and got fresh fruit for the trip – we got a watermelon, basket of peaches, and some corn! All were good but the peaches were the best! We also love the sandwich and ice cream shop! I love their turkey sandwich or their hot ham and cheese on sourdough! Their service is quick and the food is great! My personal favorite is their homemade ice cream! The peach flavor is the best! It is a must have on every stop! They also sell pints of ice cream and will package it so you can carry it with you! We’ve went time and time again over the years and plan to keep going!

I’ve been in Clanton Alabama for 3 1/2 years from Florida originally. It seems perhaps many tourists traveling along I-65 with kids prefer Peach Park on the other side of I-65 at that same exit 205 for Durbin Farms. I think Peach Park because the outside tiny forest of trees and kid stuff. That might make it more known? They got lunch specials on Facebook daily. I heard the BBQ is good like the ribs? They got at both places fried pies and bakery delites. I think personally Durbin Farms is a bit more modern. I’d say Durbin Farms during peach season being Chilton county Alabama is the Peach capital of the state.I feel Durbin Farms has a greater selection of different peach variations than Peach Park by far. I guess Durbin Farms encompasses less land and is smaller then Peach Park. They both have homemade ice cream. So you got something to put on top of your peach or apple fried pies. The outdoor section of fresh produce and specially found products exist more so it seems at Durbin Farms. Some people might like both places for their own personal reasons I’d guess? You can get some nice sandwiches at Durbin Farms too etc.Enjoy Clanton Alabama folks and bless your hearts.

If you’re passing through central Alabama and looking for a place that serves up charm, flavor, and Southern hospitality in equal measure, Durbin Farms Market is an absolute must-stop. Nestled just off I-65 in Clanton, this beloved roadside gem is more than just a produce stand—it’s a delicious slice of down-home goodness.
Let’s talk about the loaded potato salad. It’s everything you didn’t know you needed in a side dish. Creamy, and perfectly seasoned, it’s packed with chunks of tender potato, yummy bacon, green onions, and just the right amount of tang from the dressing. It’s hearty enough to stand on its own and often ends up stealing the show from the main dish. Whether you’re ordering a sandwich, a sweet treat, or even just piecing together a picnic, make sure the potato salad lands on your tray.
Now, onto the peaches—Durbin Farms’ crown jewel. Grown in the heart of peach country, these peaches are the very definition of juicy and sweet. You can buy them by the basket or enjoy them in one of the many peach-infused treats offered on-site —from homemade peach ice cream to peach pie and preserves. The flavor is so pure and vibrant, it’s like biting into a little piece of summer.
The setting is rustic and welcoming, with a market full of fresh produce, local goods, and souvenirs. Whether you’re road-tripping or local, Durbin Farms offers a comforting taste of the South that’ll have you coming back for more.

Come for the peaches, stay for the potato salad—and leave with both.

Stopped in on our way back from a camping trip. Very cute shop, nice little produce stand, great outdoor seating. The teenagers working seemed friendly and effective.
The items were all a bit high priced. Our lunch order was OK. Chili was pretty good. Do not recommend the blt, hot dogs, or chicken and dumplings. Cobbler was OK if you don’t know how to make your own.

What a fun roadside store!! They have a little of everything. Special cheeses, rare cuts of meat, new and innovative desserts and treats. We found some really amazing gifts for friends and relatives.
We just stopped by for a sec, it turned into an hour. We had fun conversations with the staff, everyone was so sweet and polite. Southern shopping at its best !!

I stopped in here for lunch, as I was working in the area. Really cool place inside, with gifts galore, sweets, treats, hot & cold sandwiches, soups, fresh fruit & produce, a d much more. I really liked my simple turkey sandwich. It was fresh! Way better than the fast food alternatives in the area. Give these folks your business instead, they’re doing great work over there!

Not a bad place to stop and stretch your legs and look around. We didn’t try the food. The fresh baked banana bread was so good. Next I will buy more to take home

Holy cow! Do not pass this place up if you’re traveling on 1-65 N or S in Alabama. The peach cobbler with ice cream was fantastic. They were all so friendly. They cook all the food fresh. Oh my, I do love peaches and just about anything with them in it. They have peach pies, turnovers& cobbler, peach ice cream, peach coffee, and so much more in their bakery and gift shop. I’ll be stopping again on my next trip through there. Loved it!!

I love this place. I stop every time I’m heading south back to Florida. Great produce, delicious sandwiches and ice cream. The family that operates it is out of this world. Super Southern hospitality and a fun little spot, especially if you have children with you.

This little shop has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. We love stopping here anytime we are traveling. They have delicious sandwiches and wonderful customer service. We ordered a Cuban sandwich (our favorite along with the Reuben sandwich!) on our most recent visit and accidentally dropped it on the ground as we sat down. The staff was so kind and offered to remake it for us. Highly recommend this spot! They also have a well stocked farmers market and a very cute boutique like shop.
