Have been wanting to try this place for a long time. We finally made reservations and came out for dinner. It’s a short drive from our place in Sequim.

This place has so many good reviews that I almost didn’t believe them. I stopped in while traveling through the area and was treated so well. Toni, Crystal and Cookie all took part in giving me one of the best dining experiences I ever had. Crystal took her time answering any questions about the menu, asked me questions to help her make the merfect suggestions on what to order and why and was very attentive.

It wasn’t the way it was years ago, their under a new owner, they don’t have the carrots to go and this place wasn’t what it was cracked up to be when my husband previously visited. Here’s some pictures

Wow! Do not judge a book by its cover. This place is indeed a hidden gem on Highway 101 East of Port Angeles! If you drove from Sequim into Port Angeles before, you might have seen this lonely yellow cottage along the side of Highway 101 and passed it without even noticing it’s a restaurant. Dupuis Restaurant aka Mariner’s Landing Restaurant is a must-stop when visiting Sequim or Port Angeles. The restaurant is considered a historic landmark. It was established in 1920 and now with new ownership and a team full of passion and dedication to its customers and delicious entrees. On top of that, you are getting first-class customer service!

what a gem! I had the oysters stew that was just amazing! then the seafood gnocchi which was so good and filling, I’d like less gnocchi and more seafood but overall a really good seafood restaurant!

I have lived on this Peninsula for over 20 years and have driven past this place 100’s of times and never stopped. That being said ,my wife and I decided to try this place out. This place is AMAZING! It’s historical significance alone and atmosphere are unmatched. The servers and waitstaff are top notch and EVERYTHING you consume is made in house. Our server Erin was very welcoming and informative. Prices may seem a bit steep but what this place offers is worth every penny.

Don’t be fooled! The old-school exterior made me pause, but the service, drinks, and food kept me smiling after every bite. Traveling alone for my birthday I wanted to treat myself to a nice seafood dinner and I wasn’t disapointed in the Dupuis. I enjoyed a sidecar cocktail, garden salad, fresh bread and whipped butter, seafood gnocchi, and creme brulee bread pudding. It’s the small things that make a great dinner experience, like crisp ice water, strong drinks, and housemade dressing. If you come in the off season like I did (November) don’t worry about a reservation, just pull in and prepare to be pampered 🙂

Probably the worst pasta dish ever. Seafood fettuccine special with an orange tarragon sauce. Should’ve known better. The sauce tasted like orange coffee creamer and the scallops and “fresh local salmon” tasted like they were last week’s leftovers from Golden Corral. Breakfast buffet with the fruit garnish on the plate was lame. Service was good. The guy on piano with recorded back up was probably the best thing of the whole experience..
