I visited this spot for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. The staff were warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and very clean. The mimosas could’ve been a little stronger, but they were still enjoyable. The live DJ played some nice Beres and friends tunes, which gave the place a relaxed and pleasant vibe. Prices for brunch were fair and well worth it.

I had a good time at Dunn’s River. It’s a quaint space with good music (a bit loud if you’re wanting to converse). They played classic reggae and dancehall. I ordered the pepper shrimp as a starter and the escoveitch snapper with rice and peas and plantains as my entree The fish was fresh but could’ve used a little more seasoning. The drinks were good. The waitress was nice and helpful. Overall a good time. I would go back.

Such a WONDERFUL experience with DELICIOUS food! I had the brown stew tofu and it was a very delightful, beautiful meal with great flavor. Thank you Tracey for great service as well. My family friend got the oxtail pasta and it was gorgeous.

Sunday brunch $45 with unlimited mimosas. The salt fish was a little fishy. The stew chicken was a little too hard. The mimosas were a little weak. The server was very good.

The food at this lounge was amazing. The meat was falling off the oxtails, & was very tasty. The alcoholic drinks were perfectly made.I took my staff here to celebrate Employee Appreciation Week, & our waiter, Jamol, was amazing. He catered to our needs. & took care of us whenever we needed anything. He became very busy, but always checked on is. The ambience at this lounge is very warm. Go check it out. All of my staff said their food was delicious. We recently had our work Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon catered from here. We ordered rice & peas, sweet plantain, 3 cheese Mac & cheese, jerk chicken, & braised oxtails. All of the food was cooked to perfection, plentiful, & definitely delicious. We did 1/2 pan servings of each for 8 people, & there was still food left to take home. Also try their red velvet & carrot cake….DELICIOUS!!!!

I’ve always wanted to try this place and I’m glad that my wife and I had the opportunity to. The food and the service were great. They had just finished with a 50 person event when we arrived and they were able to set back up quickly and get us seated and serviced. We had the oxtail toast appetizer which was delicious. For our entrée, we had jerk pork and curry goat. The jerk pork is my favorite dish and some of the best that I’ve ever had. I loved the cuts of the pork and it was melt in your mouth tender. Our waitress was also very polite and friendly which made the experience even better. I will definitely be back for more!

My husband’s coworker told us about this place. We planned to make reservations, but my husband never hit submit. Thankfully, we were still able to sit at the bar and order. From the appetizers to the entrée and desserts, everything was excellent. OMG, get the jerk BBQ lamb chops. The vibe was warm and intimate, and the owner and staff were all very welcoming. We definitely look forward to coming back. 10 out of 10.

I’ve made Dunns River Lounge, my go to place for a romantic evening. The atmosphere says DLR is fine lovers. You get intimate time with your dining partner and a chance to connect. The food is tasty at all times. I had lamb chops this time around and that may be my “all time go to dish”.
If I had a drink it would have set the night and captivated the mood but we still found a moment of relaxation, enjoyment, and engaging conversation.
They have a bar as well so if you want to enjoy the night life and toast the night away. This place is great!
