This place has the BEST BANANA CREAM PIE in Chicago. Their menu is filled with classic pub food with scrumptious flare. You can taste the quality and won’t skimp on quantity. Most of all our server JUSTIN was helpful, kind, and personable. Definitely try the wings, shrimp po’boy, burger, and fries. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS! They have very affordable daily food & drink specials too!

Easy five stars all across the board. My band Second Shot loves to come here to hang out, eat and have fun! The staff is great, very friendly, the place is very clean, the food is delicious, there are some unique drinks and it is probably best in the neighborhood by far.
The sound system is full, but not necessarily overwhelming so you can still carry a conversation.
I would love to see a bit more help with the parking but it’s not a deal-breaker. I believe there is a parking lot next door belonging to another business. Some synergy would be nice there, but I usually find parking within half a block of the bar.
I love that the bar is very accepting, I’ve never had any trouble with people criticizing, and generally a lot of the patrons are very friendly. I’ve actually had two occasions where there was pizza for everybody. The atmosphere is very cozy it has a comfortably intimate and warm aesthetic.
As some constructive criticism I would love to see more entertaining elements come out like a pool table or two. I did love the fact that I saw a band when I first walked in there! They have darts and TVs which is good. I just personally prefer a larger bar with more activities, this is more of an interpersonal, intimate bar with a nice medium sized area.
I love the food, I’ve had the burger, the fish tacos, the wings. The drinks are good, I’ve had the Dunning mule, the vodka soda and this other warm drink that was very good. I would like to see the prices go slightly down, for cheap shots in particular, but then again that’s just saying that for every single bar in Chicago.
It’s a great place to hang out with friends, reconnect, it feels like a safe space, you can bring a date, you can make friends, eat, be merry and watch TV together as a community. I would definitely come check it out. It feels very comfortable, the aesthetic is pleasing and the food is delicious. We all love it and come here often, 5 stars x3

Great, clean, and very good food. I don’t drink so I can’t talk about the beverages that are served. Met some friends for lunch. Can get pretty loud in there, I have hearing issues and I don’t enjoy having people yell in my ear so I can hear them. But not a deal breaker, will definitely be back. The food I have was great, Nashville chicken sandwich, tatot tots sand a great dessert, see pics.

Great spot! Great food, drinks, service, atmosphere, beers on tap, and owner! Awesome local watering hole to grab a bite to eat! All the food is good! The wings, burgers, mac & cheese, pesto pasta, jambalaya chicken sandwiches, fries, tater tots, and more! All are great! Bobby the owner is great guy and keeps the good times rolling with fresh new beers, drinks, and food items! They have a lot of TVs so it is a great spot to watch a game! Highly recommend Dunning Pourhouse!

Came here for the first time last night and loved it. The food is delicious! Great weekday specials as well. Our bartender Jenn was so sweet and wonderful. The place is very laid back as well, you’ll never want to leave.

Talk about a true community bar and grill! Food is always on point, the laid-back atmosphere where everyone is welcome and the great service is why we’ll always come back! And to top it off they donated to our block party without hesitation!
