I was attempting to redeem promotions through the Dunn Brothers mobile app. The first visit involved the complimentary drink offer for new app users, and the second visit involved the three dollar discount promotion. Instead of addressing those offers, the staff member repeatedly redirected the interaction toward earning loyalty points through receipt scanning, which was not relevant to the promotions I was trying to use.
After I was finally able to state that I wanted to use the three dollar discount, she asked to scan my phone. However, instead of allowing me to present it, she took my phone out of my reach and tapped through the screen herself. This made me very uncomfortable and felt inappropriate.
The manner in which the interaction was handled felt dismissive and condescending, and it created unnecessary confusion. During my first visit, I ended up paying full price despite the promotion being active. During my second visit, the discount was initially dismissed before I had the opportunity to fully explain.
I choose Dunn Brothers Coffee intentionally and appreciate the brand, but these interactions left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. A more attentive, respectful, and professional approach would have meaningfully improved the situation.

The service has gotten slower and slower, despite there usually not being many other customers around. The prices also seem to be climbing, and their drinks are at least $1 higher than their competitors same menu items.
Today’s experience was my worst and likely the last for me. First, the girl working was wearing a spaghetti strap tank top. Maybe I’m old school, but that is wildly unacceptable and unprofessional in my opinion. She handed me my drink and went to shut the window when I had to remind her I had a sandwich as well. They clearly overlooked that so I sat there for ten minutes while they made it.
When someone pulled up behind me in line, I also got to sit and watch them make that persons full order (including food) while I still waited for mine.
I stopped by hoping for a convenient and quick coffee and breakfast on my way to my next appointment and instead I overpaid for them to make me late. Cannot recommend.
