We had a wonderful experience at Dunmire’s on the Lakes. The staff were absolutely amazing especially our bartender Luke. We had phenomenal food, the flavors were great, everything was cooked perfectly, and the drinks were excellent. Highly recommend this place and we are hoping to go again the next time we are in the area!

The service our family had at Dunmire’s was first class, and the food was spectacular. Honestly, our waiter was the best server i have ever had in my 50 years of dining out. He was polite, attentive, had a great energy, and super helpful about celebrating my mom’s birthday. We can’t wait to come back soon!

I had a great first experience! I was referred to this restaurant by multiple friends and I’m glad I went. The place was clean, food was delicious, and Jadyn provided exceptional service and made the experience that much better. Definitely deserves a raise cause she is one of the few servers that can be successful at any restaurant. Thanks again for the great time, I look forward to coming back in the near future. Highly recommend going here and ask for Jadyn to be your server!

t’s simple yet cute inside. But the view is wonderful!! Our server, Morgan (that’s the name that was on the check) was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way – above and beyond!! she is a huge asset to this company.!! The food here was delicious!! we completely recommend everyone to come try this place out!!

I stopped in to have dinner with my parents. Was our first time there. Service was slow & there weren’t many people there. Our food was over fried, dry & it was disappointing. Lettuce was terrible. The mashed potatoes were lumpy & not seasoned well. It was overpriced for what you were served. I don’t think the cook takes much pride in what they make. French fries were way overcooked, hard & crunchy. I could see if it was busy. But it wasn’t. It’s not likely I’d go back. I’m not spending my money on a bad meal.

I’ve gone here a few times and the food is always pretty decent. Love the French onion soup, the burgers and the sandwiches are pretty decent. One day it was still fairly quiet and the fries were a bit burned, which was disappointing as they weren’t even busy. Overall a good place to eat. I’d say the variety on the menu is the best thing about eating here!

We celebrated our daughter in laws birthday on Oct. 20, 2025 and it was the first time any of us (6 adults and a baby) had been to this location. The food was great and the service was excellent! I wish I could remember our servers name; she was fantastic! We look forward to our next visit.

The brussel sprouts were “lick the plate” worthy. Absolutely scrumptious. I would buy the sauce from them (please sell it).
Enjoyed the lobster bisque soup, prime melt special, and banana pudding for dessert. The food & our waiter were a delight! Can’t wait to come back.

I had heard so many great things about the place, but our experience was absolutely disappointing, they forgot the lobster in our lobster shooters and then to make it up. They only gave us two more. They didn’t discount our steak bites, which were supposed to be a free item. They forgot to bring out the soup and on the sunfish sandwich it was raw in the middle and then they took it back and brought it back way later And it was literally Dark brown, almost black on the outside, It didn’t come out with any of the fixings. The waitress wasn’t very attentive, somewhat rude, And didn’t do a lot of the things that she said she would do. The waitress did say there was a new cooking in the kitchen, but it was really disappointing that the food wasn’t right Or very good.

They had Prime Rib on Friday night! A queen or king that was absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection. Choice of potatoes, au gratin, baked, garlic mashed potatoes. I went with the garlic mashed potatoes. Unbelievable how good they were! Don’t know who is cooking but, they sure have it going! The chicken wild rice soup was so good I was tempted to just have the soup. Dessert was a win, carrot cake with a caramel sauce and real whipped cream it I thought it was. When I first walked in, I was met by the receptionist, who treated me like I was a regular there. She showed me to the table and you were immediately comfortable. My waitress was Devaney and she made you feel as you were her only table. She was just that good! Dunmires on the Lake is a dining experience that I will definitely repeat. I had heard it was good but , it’s well beyond good !

They were all excellent! I had the hot toast beef sandwich served open faced. The flavor was incredible! The roast beef was so tender! The mashed potatoes were firm not soft like so many other places that serve them. And let’s not forget the raspberry iced tea, refreshing!
