A great local bar. Wonderful staff.
Just remember, conservative means small government t not Christian power. You realize that and we fix the world together.

Went in last Friday night first night of lent. Husband ordered the perch dinner cup of soup. I ordered a bowl of soup and a Togo order of chicken fingers. Soup came out after waiting about 20 minutes. Both soups my dinner soup and his cup of soup. Waited another 45 minutes and waitress says they are all out of perch. Ok he will take the cod. Another 15 minutes and his plus out with 2 small pieces of cod and soggy Burt fries. I am sitting twiddling my thumbs since I was done with my dinner. I called the waitress over complaining about the nasty fries. She walks away. We ask for the check she say oh we took the fries off, nothing about not having the perch nothing about sending my dinner out hours ago.
We use to enjoy the place but NEVER again. There are enough places around that serve good perch dinner. Only came for the soup but not worth the bad service and lack of food that we ordered.

What a friendly and welcoming Irish Pub. I attended a fundraiser there recently and was very impressed by how quickly the staff took care of the large crowd. I never had to wait for drinks, and my excellent food came out quickly after I ordered. And while it was packed for the event, the staff worked the room like a well oiled machine! (Smiling the whole time while doing their jobs and helping their coworkers.) I try and stop at Dunleavy’s whenever I am anywhere near Allen Park.

What a little gem this place is! I travel for work and always try to support and eat local. Dunleavy’s feels like the ultimate local bar/restaurant. The draft beer selection was impressive for such a small place and the menu was small but mighty and the locals on their everyday stools at the end of the bar was just perfect! I ordered the King David (bartender’s favorite) and it was delicious and I highly recommend!

The service is top notch. The food is delicious. The beer is cold. The vibe is good. What else could you ask for? This small Irish-style grille and pub is suitable for almost any mixed group: family, friends, colleagues. Wimpy’s 3 slider basket was more than just 3 sliders — the spiders were juicy and cooked to order; the hand cut fries were exceptional. And paired with a local beer, the entire meal was a hit. Service was attentive and responsive. This place is no joke! I’ve found a new favorite spot in Detroit.

Great spot to wind down or bring friends. They had live entertainment for a fundraiser (God bless them) that night and the singer was really good and funny. Just an excellent hang especially when the weather is warm and they open the large windows.

Wonderful! Had a small get-together with cousins and friends on a return visit to Allen Park where we grew up. The place is spotless, service amazing, prices are fair and 1/2-pound ground round and hand cut fries were delicious!

Great Irish pub style bar tucked off a busy road. Great service drinks and tasty bar food. Recommend the Ramona which is a nice twist on the Reuben switching sweet coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. Friendly staff and love the design and Irish atmosphere! Highly recommended

So I am writing this review while I am trying to eat this, but these are the worst wings I ever ate in my life! They are so rubbery, tough and dry and they gave me wings that looks somebody bit a piece out of or something! Very sad looking and tasting wings!! My wife had the reuben the meat is very dry and chewy and just sloppy and gross.Horrible experience i would never return. The fries were all soggy and looked like they were from the end of the bag, and tasted like a freezer. They wouldnt eat this so why serve it to a customer? What a waste of money.

Dunleavy’s food and drink…. always good. Everything is reasonably priced.
Friendly service is the norm.
Burgers, Fish & Chips, sandwiches, or daily specials have all met or exceeded expectations.
My favorites: Flying Leprechaun Burger, Cheese Sticks and Balls, and a 7&7.
