I went back through the drive-through and asked for a new sandwich with bacon. I understand that employees sometimes need to verify mistakes, but being asked to give my food back just so it could be thrown away felt unnecessary—especially since I wasn’t the one who made the mistake. At that point, less than three minutes had passed since I left the drive-through, and the implication that I might be trying to get free food was frustrating.
I decided to request a refund instead. Since I paid with Apple Pay, they weren’t able to refund the money to my card, so I had to walk inside. When I asked a male employee who was sitting nearby for help, he appeared annoyed, rolled his eyes, and pointed me toward the cashier, which I found rude. In the end, they were unable to refund my card and gave me cash instead.
As someone who works in the food industry, I understand food costs and the need to prevent dishonest behavior. However, it’s also important to choose battles wisely—especially when the customer did place the correct order and the mistake was on the staff’s end. This was my first experience at this location, and while I’m not sure if I’ll return, it’s disappointing that it started this way.
modern Dunkin, everything was eye appealing. They have tables for dine in. They also have a drive-thru. Next time I go there, I will try the breakfast sandwich with hash browns and coffee specia, $6.00. there was plenty of parking. It’s convenient to other places where I shop in Inver Grove Heights I felt very welcomed there and it is going to be one of my hangout spots when I’m in the mood for coffee and donuts.
I’ll stick to the local cafe, “Cuppa More Pages”
