Stopped by the Dunkin’ inside the Pilot in Rochester, Indiana, while passing through, and it was a solid quick-stop experience overall. The location is convenient since it’s right inside the travel center, making it easy to grab coffee or a snack without making an extra stop. The ordering area is small but functional, and despite the steady flow of customers, the line moved at a reasonable pace. My order came out correctly, though the service felt a bit rushed, which is typical for a travel-stop Dunkin’. The coffee was fresh and tasted as expected, and the donuts were decent, though not the freshest I’ve had from other Dunkin’ locations. The seating area is limited, and most people just grab and go, which makes sense for this setup. The biggest downside is that the cleanliness depends heavily on how busy the Pilot is. During my visit, the counters could’ve used a quick wipe-down. Still, for a road trip stop, it hits the basics: fast, convenient, and predictable.

Efficient: Yes
First-Time Friendliness: Yes
Would I Return: Yes

The only way to get good service is drive thru. Going inside means waiting in line over 20 min while watching car after car be served all while you wait at the counter, making eye contact with the gals behind the counter, all while being ignored. Line of people pile up behind you, they all think you have a big order when you haven’t even been helped yet.
Then after waiting 20+ minutes it’s wrong, literally can’t waste another 20+ minutes to get helped again so you just suffer and say what a waste that 19 bucks was!
The gals that work their are rude and disrespectful maybe a hello or I’m sorry about the wait would be nice but nope you barely get to put an order in let alone it be right.
Just overall a very big waste of time and money!

They were out of everything we wanted. Instead of letting us know what they had available, she kept letting us continue to order things and saying they were out. She couldn’t take our points. Couldn’t use the app. Staff was friendly and what we did end up getting was good, but not what we wanted. Overall, Starbucks is across the street, just go there.

Let me TELL YOU GUYS… so I’m walking in wanting to get a iced latte and a croissant I walk up order my stuff it took so long for this young man (young black male bout 5’10) to finally start working on my order I stood there for so long and I promise I don’t complain a lot he was AWFUL and weird, writing weird and stuff on my cup and making weird noises and talking in weird voices. Luckily at some point a young brunette lady walked up and took matters into her own hands and got my order done. 2/5 because that young lady was so sweet.

We walked in and the woman behind the counter immediately stepped up and asked us if she could help us. We asked for just a second to look at the menu and she waited patiently for us to decide.
Our order of an egg & cheese on a croissant and a ham and egg Sammy came up fairly quickly. The only problem was… There were no napkins in any of their napkin dispensers. She sent us to three of them before she finally found some behind the counter somewhere to give to us. Then we sat down at a (mostly) clean table and quickly ate our mid-morning snack before getting back on the road toward our destination. It was a quick gas-up, eat, and leave stop. Perfect.

Reading all the other reviews, I guess we lucked out ‍♀️

My daughter & I stopped for gas and then went inside Dunking Doughnuts to get some donuts.. there was a couple in front of us that was being waited on, once they moved on down the line we walked up to the counter and no one ever assisted us. They had about 4/5 people working, not one time did they say anything to us. We waited for 10 minutes and they did everything but acknowledge us or anything. One lady was getting ice and the others were stocking items.. all
Of which could’ve waited. There was a gentleman that walked in as we walked out and I stopped to see if they were going to assist him and they walked right up to the register to assist him. Sadly, in my mind my child got to see discrimination for the first time. We’ve been faithful customers for years…never again.

If you want fast service go through drive thru. Walk in customers wait while all 3 workers tend to drive thru. I waited 10 minutes for employee to get to the walk in line then left.

Ordered hash browns figuring those would be safe – they were not. We got FOUR hash browns that looked old and were burnt to a crisp. Pathetic. Into the garbage they went.
