Reviews
I am leaving this review to formally document a serious service and training issue at this location.
I ordered and paid for a medium chocolate caramel espresso with no ice. The employee who assisted me, Adrian, handed me a cup that was approximately one-quarter full. When I questioned why the drink was not filled to the proper level, I was told that because I did not want ice, I “did not pay for a full drink.” This statement is factually incorrect and not consistent with Dunkin’ standards.
After I clearly reiterated that I did not want ice, the employee added ice anyway, directly disregarding my request. Because the drink was never made correctly, I requested a refund.
There was initial confusion regarding the refund amount, and I was required to verify the original charge using my banking app transaction before the correct amount was issued. Although the refund was eventually corrected, this should not have required customer intervention.
The interaction was dismissive, unprofessional, and indicative of inadequate employee training. Customers should not be given false policy explanations, have their requests ignored, or be required to prove payment to receive an accurate refund.
This experience reflects a failure in customer service, product consistency, and staff accountability. Management and ownership should review training and ensure Dunkin’ policies are being followed at this location.
