One of them kept making this horrendous whistling (?) noise every thirty seconds that sounded like an alarm on some machine.
After using the kiosk to order, I realized i forgot to add some donuts to my order. I assumed it would be easier to just tell one of the people behind the couter that i wanted a few donuts as well, since they were just behind glass and it seemed like it coupd he an easy transaction. So, i waited at the cash register for an employee to acknowledge me. They didn’t.
Once my initial order was produced, they didn’t even hand it to me. Just dropped it and kept moving on the next drive-thru order. Luckily, the person working the drive thru window let them know, they ignored me, so she had to leave her post to bring me my food. I thanked her and asked, “could i order some donuts too or no?” and she said “They’re right there. You’re gonna have to wait a second.” Dear reader, at this point I had been waiting MANY seconds.
After another few minutes, one of the other employees finally asked me what i wanted. I told him my order and he seemed confused when I called “munchkins,” “donut holes.” Sorry i don’t know the vernacular, i guess?
He told me the total, i paid and he walked away. A couple minutes later he returned to tell me, “it’s ready for the card.” i looked at the card reader telling me it was waiting on the merchant. He pushed a few buttons and the order was completed. He handed me the donuts after clarifying a couple times.
The food was fine. I was just thrown by the intentional incompetence. idk whatever, man
OH also, when i walked in, there was a dad there with his toddler and the drive-thru lady was asking him, “Did we forget something?” and he went, “Yeah, the donuts…” Is this not a donut shop? What about procurring donuts from the glass case is so hard for this location?
