however. i want to make a point on how much money i spend on DUNKIN (their brand, not the people runnin the place) on a consistent basis as me and my three children LOVE dunkin.
the gilmore location since one of the managers left to open the new tylersville location, almost 3 years ago…… HAS TOOK A DIVE and corporate is satisfied with whose running that specific location as i’ve tried to call in and get a solution to the RUDE customer experience as well as just down right plain wrong orders.
i’m going to explain the picture.
i ordered a regular medium iced vanilla coffee with EXPRESSO. one, if expresso is in it, it definitely shouldn’t look like milk with a ring of sugar at the bottom. but this picture was THE SECOND coffee made after they didn’t get it right the first time. same order, but the first order they gave me had caramel and cold foam in it while my tag on the cup says something completely different.
i had a feeling the ladies especially the manager there knew my name, car make and model so they knew when i would be putting in my order after my first issue with them. i don’t get how u can get a simple coffee wrong not once but twice and when im looking at the workers confused they basically have the attitude well thats what u ordered BYE
the energy they give has become increasingly personal
i told corporate i wouldn’t be back after our phone call and i saw that he was satisfied with how it was being ran on the inside… but because its the closest to me on my route to take kids who aren’t always on time in the morning to school, i end up there. just throwing money away.
if anyone goes to this location, just know u are throwing ur money away. if not the first time, u will eventually. there’s no respect, quality or consistency that exists in that coffee shop.
and i’ve got plenty of more personal experiences about this location.
someone should do something , it’s not right our money gets treated the way it does by these employees currently.
bring the old manager back, HE WAS AMAZING AND HAPPY TO WORK! u could feel it before u saw it.
after this last incident and now coming to GOOGLE to share my experiences. i will have to use the money i would throw away to go to one a little bit more out of my way. and will happily do so.
I placed a mobile order for 2 coffees, 2 sandwiches, and some donuts and munchkins for the kids. The second coffee that was handed to me was in a cup that had been bent, so when I put it in the cup holder the lid popped off and spilled everywhere. The employee gave me napkins but didn’t say a word. She barely spoke the entire interaction.
After that, she handed me a bag with one sandwich in it and asked if I got donuts too. I said yes and she asked what kind. This is all information that can be found if you look at the order. Then I told her I got a second sandwich too, and she asked if the receipt on the bag showed two sandwiches. I said yes and she ran off to go find my other sandwich.
Once I got that, then I asked where the munchkins were. She rolled her eyes and went off to find the munchkins. She came back with a crumpled bag of loose munchkins and handed it to me. Complete shocker, I discovered those were the wrong ones once I got home.
I don’t think this place has ever operated well. Beyond getting a simple coffee, I would avoid at all costs.
This isn’t an isolated issue. About a year ago, the Dunkin near Kenwood Shopping Centre where i usually frequent because it was nearby my work caused me food poisoning by the same poorly prepared items. These repeated experiences highlight a serious problem: Dunkin needs a complete overhaul in staff training and food quality standards. The only time the South Gilmore location did well was when they had a male manager 2years ago who was so positive, friendly, did his job well but since that manager ended up leaving that location, it went downhill from there and I personally think that location has not recovered!
Customers spend their hard-earned money expecting a treat, not subpar food and careless service. Based on both past and recent experiences, we’ve made the decision to fully BOYCOTT Dunkin until meaningful improvements are made.
