This location has gone completely downhill, I’m not sure what has changed but the new employees have zero clue how to make a coffee. We asked for less creamer and sent back the coffee twice for them to just add extra creamer.
I have received about 2-4 inches of granulated sugar in my coffee about 3-5 times now when asking for a normal amount of sugar to be added.
The coffee here has become inedible and the workers get annoyed when you ask them to fix it. Ridiculous and honestly a shame for what used to be the best Dunkin in the area.
I would have called the store but this has become a systemic issue that is a daily reoccurrence here.
Hope this change soon.

Terrible costumer service. Absolutely terrible. My husband, who is a blue collar worker, doesn’t know anything about Dunkin. When he’s told numerous times he can’t have a specific drink with a meal deal, and no one is giving him options, it’s frustrating trying to figure it out, especially with limited drinks on the drive-thru screen. Once we got to the window ZERO interaction from the workers. Didn’t make eye contact and didn’t say a single word. From 2 different workers. I had to check our bag and drinks just to be sure we had the correct order, since they didn’t say a word. Extremely disappointing. Will not return to this location (James City).

I work in this area and have always had great interactions with all the employees but today was just ridiculous. I’m assuming I dealt with the same lady that everyone else is referring to in their reviews up here (older white lady Linda) but she was so rude!!!!!! She just seemed like one of those bitter people that fake smile. Spoke to me as if I were a child because I was looking at MY order! The gentlemen at the register showed me where my order was so I went over to grab it and she just snapped on me, grabbed it back and told me not to touch it!! I’ve been in customer service before and could never handle a customer in that way. The employee standing next to her looked surprised that she’d reacted that way.

The grandest shout out to Amanda for helping this frantic Momma – who was on her way to deliver cupcakes to a surprise party and had a cupcake catastrophe in the back seat of the car on the way. Amanda was kind and calming and helped me pick out replacement sweets quickly so I could be on my way in time for set up. I am ever grateful.

This was one of my faviort coffee and donut spot.. except for yesterday had a bad mishap with them went through the drive through as nor.al the lady on the mic was very rude. She kept repeating herself like it was a game.so that’s when it started well anyways they got my order which was just a medium coffee and two donuts their was one car in front of me and no one behind me I literally waited for over a half hour and the lady in front of me only got 3 hot drinks.. it was like a game to everyone their.. I really hope you guys get your act together so I can go back to enjoying my coffee and donuts..

Huge shoutout to JJ at the Carolina Colours Dunkin’ Donuts! Hands down the BEST customer service I’ve ever received at this location. JJ was so friendly, upbeat, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect with my order. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond with such a great attitude, and JJ absolutely made my visit a great experience. Dunkin’ is lucky to have him!
