Horrible service. Only one employee is working. We ordered all of our food, but we were missing a hash brown, and the croissant Sandwich was a little burnt. I told the lady about the missing hash brown, and she didn’t understand, but she then said it was paid for, so I said, “Just forgot it.” She seemed over-stressed, and she was taking her time. We waited probably 10-15 minutes for our order, and we were her only customers in there.

I am writing to formally report an ongoing issue I have experienced at this location, specifically involving a manager named Sophie or Sophia (I am not completely sure of the spelling).

I regularly order breakfast from this location, including an emu breakfast for myself and a grilled cheese sandwich for my wife. My wife is allergic to American cheese. From the beginning, I explained this and was told that the cheese could not be removed unless I called ahead. I understood and have made an effort to call ahead almost every time to request the sandwich without American cheese.

Unfortunately, today I was in a rush and forgot to call in advance. When I received the sandwich, it contained American cheese. I politely and calmly explained to the manager that my wife is allergic and asked if the sandwich could please be remade. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager spoke to me rudely, made me feel uncomfortable, and told me I would have to pay for another sandwich because they “do not waste food.”

I was not rude at any point during this interaction. I simply asked, respectfully, for a remake due to a serious allergy concern. The way I was spoken to was unprofessional and unacceptable, especially coming from a manager. This is not the first time I have felt uncomfortable interacting with this individual, and this situation has been ongoing for weeks. It feels as though there may be a personal issue, even though all I want is to pick up my food and leave without problems.

I am very disappointed by how this was handled. Food allergies are serious, and customers should be treated with respect. I strongly believe managers should receive better training in customer service, professionalism, and handling allergy-related situations.

I have attached a photo of the manager for identification purposes. I hope this matter is taken seriously, as I would like to continue ordering from this location without feeling disrespected.

Super friendly Location. Mr. Saad was so nice and explained all the drinks to my kids in so much detail! So pleasant. Loved loved the caramel frozen drink..yummy…My kids and i loved the drinks, my bagel was ok and glazed donuts were yummy.

Areas of improvement, only one person on staff is not enough. He was working SUPER HARD, but it is a lot for one person to manage. Drinks.. cleaning..register…Place needed cleaning but can understand given the limitted staffing.

I ordered through Doordash on 6/6/2025, and I got this small piece of metal in my bagel !! and they messed up my order by sending three donuts instead of the Munchkins Donut. Thanks for this amazing experience !

The gentleman that was working alone when I went in on a Saturday afternoon was absolutely the most pleasant and customer friendly. That made the coffee taste a bit stronger and the donut a bit sweeter.

The coffee was not delicious. The bagels were very hard not tasty or moist at all very little cream cheese. Overall, I will never go here again. I would not recommend anybody to go there again.

Poor employee training and operation. I usually think twice about making a review like this because I don’t know if the reprucssions cen be too harsh on employees, but the person at the register didn’t seem to know anything.

It was obvious that the training was either subpar or nonexistent.

I asked for a dozen glazed, and only afterwards I was told that there was no glazed, no big deal. The issue comes when I ask politely for a refund and was basically told no, I have never ever been to a place that was incapable of a refund, im almost certain the employee was not trained properly on how to handle the register.

I didn’t bother arguing because getting different flavored donuts is better than spending time arguing with what seems to be the only employee in the store who can’t issue a refund.

I had also ordered a strawberry coolatta and got a completely different drink, it still looked good despite being a completely different drink so I didn’t even bother arguing.

Just go to a different donut shop.

Absolutely one of the worst Dunkins I’ve been to in the DMV area. I’m not certain if Sumaiya hates her job or was just having a bag day, but it was apparent she didn’t want to help me with my transaction. I wasn’t greeted, smiled at, thanked and was barely spoken to by this young lady. I work 5 days a week for a transportation company that serves the entire DMV area, and I travel to various Dunkin Donuts daily while working. I’ve been to over 50 Dunkin’s in the last 6 months alone, forget the last few years. This one almost takes the cake for the worst customer service, because it’s usually phenomenal. I don’t like writing bad reviews but I felt so bad after leaving this Dunkin’!

The only thing good about this experience was the green tea which was perfect. I’ll try my luck next time with lower expectations.
