The place needed a bit of cleaning inside as the tables were sticky and trash on some tables.
Pumpkin doughnut and egg, sausage croissant was delicious. Our coffee was okay. We just had to wait for it as the employee making our order forgot to give us our drink.
We got there right before closing and everything was put away (doughnuts). They were accommodating and retrieved what we asked for. One of our drinks were not to our liking and they smiled and made another one.
When they finally ask me what I want, I say “I want the meal deal please. I want a iced black coffee, and two bacon breakfast wraps. No cream or sugar in my coffee.”
Then since she clearly wasn’t paying attention, the cashier asked me if I want cream or sugar in my coffee.
I say no. I want a black coffee.
I then pull up to the window. All three of the girls inside are playing on their phones or looking at the same monitor.
They then hand me my coffee.
My coffee is not a black coffee. It is a coffee with a ton of stevia in the bottom of it.
Don’t worry though, the girl clearly recognized her mistake and peeled off the label to try to cover up the mistake. I said that’s not black, she said it was.
I don’t have any more time to sit here and argue with these girls if they don’t understand what a black coffee is then they’re probably not capable of understanding a lot of things.
I don’t understand how you can work at a coffee shop and hear the term black coffee and not understand that that means a coffee with no additives. Seems like something you would learn on the first day.
