On several occasions, they’ve added regular vanilla syrup even though I specifically ask for the zero-sugar vanilla shot, and I always ask for clarification to make sure they understand. Other times—like today—they didn’t add anything I ordered and just gave me a plain black coffee.
It already takes a lot for me to order food or drinks since my diagnosis because I never want to feel like a bother. But my order was simple: hot coffee, no cream, 6 Splenda, and one pump of a vanilla shot. That shouldn’t be difficult, and yet the mistakes happen every single visit. At this point, it doesn’t feel like an accident.
Maybe it doesn’t seem serious to others, but for someone like me, this is genuinely dangerous. There have been multiple times where I’ve taken a sip and immediately realized it tasted like straight sugar—only to be told that’s “what I asked for,” even when the printed receipt showed otherwise.
I never leave reviews, but after the pattern I’ve experienced here, I feel it’s necessary.
Ask like hey I paid for that what happen and the response is do it your self like huh last I check you don’t say that in customer service but ok and on top of it the dink taste like regular milk and I paid for cereal milk flavored milk and on a regular they never want to give me cold foam last time I was there I had to ask for them to put it on but I paid for it I heard one employee say to another employee say oh look next time don’t give them the code foam. I only give it to them when they ask for it although I paid for it and it said cold foam on my receipt. Then on top of that employees can’t even get your name correctly you tell them the name and they have the audacity to tell you oh it actually is this and sounds like this I think that’s highly unprofessional and once again rude The employees also unfortunately reeked of alcohol and looked as though they were under some type of influence
There were two employees: a kind, respectful young woman who handled herself with grace, and an older woman who appeared to be the manager. My daughter had gone into the store to order a sandwich. A short while later, I returned so I could place my own order. The young employee politely asked me to pull to the front so she could bring out my daughter’s food. No issue — until the older woman stormed out of the store and began screaming at me without provocation.
Let me be clear: I had not ordered anything yet. I wasn’t even the customer involved in the original transaction. I calmly tried to speak to her, but she was relentless — shouting over me, then directing her hostility toward my teenage daughter. The scene she caused was loud, humiliating, and completely unnecessary.
When she finally retreated into the store, the young woman came out to apologize for my experience. And to be honest, I felt more sorry for her — forced to work under such an unprofessional and toxic presence.
I walked inside to address the manager’s behavior directly, explaining that yelling at customers — especially those who weren’t even involved in the issue — was entirely unacceptable. Her response? She doubled down and made a remark that stopped me cold: “You people are always trying to get free food.”
“You people.” I wonder exactly what kind of “people” she meant. I’m sure she knew. And so do I.
There is no excuse for this kind of language or behavior — especially from someone in a position of leadership. This woman was not only aggressive and disrespectful — she was emboldened in her prejudice.
I will not be returning to this location, and I urge others to think twice before giving them your business. No one deserves to be verbally assaulted or stereotyped while grabbing lunch with their child. This manager should not be in customer service, much less leading a team. And to the young employee who handled everything with such poise — I hope you find a job that values your kindness and professionalism, because you deserve so much better.
