A large group of us came in with online orders and before leaving the establishment we checked our orders. Drinks were made wrong, food lacked elements, such as bacon, and donuts were swapped even though the ordered donuts were still available behind the counter. When the employees were told about these issues they refused to remake our food, or just give bacon in some sort of container and said that they could do nothing about it. Although I do understand there must have been some sort of issue with the system, refusing to assist the customer is not right. 1/5 stars.
Here’s my honest review of this Dunkin’ Donuts located in Carribou, MAINE. My wife & I are obsessed with Dunkin’ and we don’t have any locations near us in Toronto. We were visitng some family and decided to take a day trip into the U.S when we stopped at this location.
This Dunkin’ location looks a bit fresh and updated with the companies more recent look. It has a drive-thru and is right beside the evil corp, IRVINE gas. This particular area is a commuter zone so I can see this location getting very busy with travellers.
Upon entry to the business we were greeted by staff and it was empty. The drive-thru had a few cars but overall we were served immediately. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and 2 coffees. The coffee’s tasted SO AMERICAN, very sweet and sugary. It was fine as we expected it.
There is alot of Dunkin’ merch for purchase and this location is equipped with washrooms. The dining experience is totally fine if your just in/out.
All in all, we had a good DUNKIN’ experience. I don’t think I will visit this location again, however there are many more DUNKIN’ locations to try.
All in all we had a 4/5 experience.
Until next time!!!!!
As I prepare for my COLD, NOISY, WINDY and potentially many other verbs, I struggle with the plastic and atop several times in the first 1/2 hour.
I pulled into DD knowing that I’d need to or in some elbow grease and do it right this time. Still kinda grooving into my day, not sure which way it might actually go, Rob walked out and fretted me with a big smile on his face! I think I caught him off guard then me, I expected someone to tell me that if I wasn’t buying anything I couldn’t stay. That wasn’t the case at all, he just wanted to know of I needed any more plastic or tape for my windows. I cannot tell you how much my experience with Rob and being able to watch him and the rest of his awesome team interact with customers in the short time I was there effected the start of this stressful drive.
He later caught me eaves dropping on his banter with a customer and asked if I was thirsty. I am not from the area, where I am and the surrounding areas are lacking in the customer service department. Not DD in particular, but everywhere. I’ve been working i this field over 20 years, and have a hard time understanding why respect, empathy, common sense and courtesy are so difficult or why it’s so hard to reach it to our children and so on, along with good work ethic. Y’all gave me faith, guys, and you make your customers feel like they’re each your only one! That’s getting the job done right!!!
Thanks for the experience and letting me squat there til I was mentally ready to leave!!!
