Food quality is excellent, always is, but I think they need more training on up selling customers and basic sales. Not once but twice I was charged for a cup of water which is 50 cents because I needed ice. The 2nd time I asked them to fill the cup with ice that I bought there for $20. I’m in there almost every other day because of my job being so close and starting so early. I don’t usually have a lot of options. It’s not about the 50 cents, its about wasted opportunity it’s disgusting .I hope nobody is actually coaching them to make sure to charge 50 cents to a polite regular customer. Who spends at least 9 every time he comes in almost daily. And tips when he has cash on him.

Staff were polite and efficient when I popped in here after a hike at the Breakheart Reservation. We also tried the ghost pepper donut and it’s hard to describe properly. The texture of the ghost pepper sprinkles(?) is similar to pop rocks. The heat is very mild and I wouldn’t even call it spicy. The frosting is probably strawberry but we’re not sure. It works and they balance each other out. An interesting experience but I’ll probably stick with jam the next time.

Manager quite hostile with my presence in the store while I was waiting to use the restroom, I had my coffee in hand. “You can’t stay there more than 10 minutes”, she said just out of the blue. I explained I was waiting to use the restroom and she repeated “10 minutes only, and I am counting”. I was embarrassed, there were customers in the store. The weather was bad, it was really cold to wait outside… Believe it or not, it was my second time in the store ever since I moved to Saugus. I won’t show up again.

I dropped in here to pick up some quick bites and noticed Julie has a mean attitude and is very off-putting to guests and staff. Very obnoxious and ill mannered. Openly swears while guests are in the establishment. Doesn’t wear gloves like the rest of the staff either

Very nice and friendly employees!! They made my iced cappuccino perfectly! And, this location was very clean…no napkins or straw wrappers on the counter or floor. Definitely recommend this Dunks!
