Dune Dog Cafe is an unassuming spot on the side of the road that has absolutely delicious hot dogs! They also have many other items on the menu, but I can only speak for the hotdogs. I got the foot long southwest dog, and that is basically a chili cheese dog, along with a basket of fries and rings. The hotdog was definitely delicious, with heart chili and shredded cheese neatly packed into a New England bun, which I prefer! The fries are waffle fries, and the onion rings were very crispy and flavorful as well! I’ve been twice now, and will absolutely return! Just a warning, it’s very busy so there will likely be a wait.

Food was ok and the portions aren’t bad. Prices are good for sandwiches but a bit high for meals. We had the chicken finger meal, the fried clam meal, the fish and chips and the buffalo chicken something. I didn’t like the clams they just tasted like breading. My daughter said the chicken fingers were bland and the buffalo chicken meal my other daughter got just came with the sauce on the side which she thought was odd. Service was very good and fast. The atmosphere was cool, it had a beach type vibe. Outdoor seating was nice because it’s the fall, in the summer may be a bit hot. Overall I would go back there but order something different.

We popped over to Dune Dog for lunch the other day and there was a 25 minute wait and we expected there to be a wait. We are not afraid of wait times for places we enjoy. We live in paradise and the good places are going to have a wait. We enjoyed the staff members we encountered, it’s a laid back bunch that are hustling to serve their customers. I regret I didn’t get anyones names but they were all wonderful! We had hot dogs, burgers and a grilled chicken sandwich at our table. Our food didn’t stand a chance! Delicious! We also had a basket of fries and onion rings, cooked perfectly! Our server was such a sweet young man, we complimented his attentiveness and we enjoyed seeing the staff interact with each other. It makes you feel good dining at a place you see the staff getting along, enjoying their environment. Dune Dog is a staple in our area and you will most likely have to wait for a table but it’s worth it. We actually bought a tshirt at this visit!

Long history with this place. It’s been well known for many years. It’s pricey, but good. Bit of an excited atmosphere. I’ve gone here many times after a great scuba dive in the Jupiter area.

Let’s be clear, this is another one of those places I love, a place you might not think twice about at first glance, and that’s what makes it special. The food is good, the staff friendly, and everyone seems to enjoy their job. But it’s a great place to eat. And their Lobster night, get there early. Go, enjoy it, just don’t try to be fancy!

We have been patrons of Dune Dog for many years and we love the hot dogs – buns are grlled and buttered. We don’t care for the fries so we get onion rings – they are made with whole onions (not minced) and dipped in batter. Very good and nice sized portion that is plenty for two people. We have been here for lobster night which is fun and a good value.
This is an open air restaurant – lots of fans but it’s hot in the summer and crowded during season and weekends. Expect to wait for a picnic table and bar seats during prime lunch and dinner times.
Next time we got, we will do what we always do – two dogs with kraut and onion rings!

Dune Dog is always a family favorite everytime we go there. The food and the service is fantastic! Great place to bring the kids and grandkids.

Nice shaded and fanned outdoor deck style seating at picnic tables. Had a good sampling of food. All cooked to order and delicious. Server was friendly and attentive. Pricing was very reasonable and a great place for lunch.
