Meh….we were staying at the hotel next door and dropped by to get some coffee and some eats. I got a regular drip coffee (medium roast) and it was plain weak and watery. My wife’s mocha was OK…if you are getting something other than plain coffee you’ll probably be satisfied. They didn’t have any pastries, but they had $5 slices of toast that simply left something to be desired both in terms of taste and what you got for the money. I really, really want to support independent places when I travel, but sometimes you roll the dice and don’t win

Maybe just had a bad experience here as the other dune on Storke road was great, but this time I was given a cold stale bagel and waited about 15 minutes for a tea bag to be placed in water for almost ten dollars. Atmosphere is good, and I know this place can provide great quality, so I’m chalking it up to bad luck when I visited the day after new years.

If you’re looking for something a little bit different than typical dark roasted coffee, Dune you may have what you’re looking for. Of course, if you want the typical dark roast they have that too.
