What a great little burger spot in Nags Head! Reading some of the reviews, we were a little apprehensive, but it was recommended to us by a local so we had to try it out. Took barely 10 minutes to get our food, even with people in front of us already waiting for theirs. Burgers, BBQ sandwich, and fries were all awesome and more than enough. Definitely recommend going, they close at 3 pm so make sure you go for lunch!

It’s a window service burger joint. You’re getting exactly what this place is offering. Deliciously greasy (in a good way) burgers, wonderful French fries, and milk shakes. If you’re visiting and want a solid burger and fries, stop on by. If you’re looking for a sit down restaurant on a hot day, this isn’t the place for you. They do have some picnic tables though.

The food was really good and served at a fair price. Everything was prepared fresh so you know it hasn’t been under a lamp. Took a little bit of a wait to get our food, however it is totally worth it for fresh food.

Updating from one star to five! Service and food were much better second time around. Good choice for fast casual dining. Hot dog was juicy but the burger was a little dry. Overall it was great for the price point.

We haven’t been to Dune Burger since before the pandemic and were able to get by there during this year’s vacation. The food is as good as it has always been and the service was excellent. We had an $87 order, the food was prepared correctly and the service was so good I left her a $20 tip.

Where to start!! First we had to repeat our order to the guy taking the order because he was too busy bobbing his head to the music inside. Then the price! $40 for 3 hotdogs and a burger no bigger than a McDonald burger cold fries and 3 drinks with about 3 swallows in it. The wait was insane. We were the only ones there at first, waited 20 minutes on our food. It was our first and last experience there. Less than 1/2 star

Waited almost 30 minutes at lunch time for one thing cheese burger and onion rings. The burger was about McDonald’s quality and the onion rings were flavorless and almost burnt. I somehow finished my sierra mist halfway through my meal to find that the cup was completely filled with crushed ice. Paid 15 bucks for a less than McDonald’s quality meal and the wait. Lady in front of me ordered fries for her party (4) but they only gave her two, then they charged her for the other two after her very long wait and then had to wait again.
