One of the best restaurants with quality food. I’m not exaggerating when I say that imperial union has been a family tradition in my house for over 10 years. I thought the plates were big growing up but as I grew older the plates were still considered to be big. You get more than what you paid for here the orange chicken is delicious and you cannot beat their crab puffs. Also their staff is very hard-working, most fast food places were closed due to hurricane Nicolas but this business took precautions and the right measures, in order to keep their business afloat. They even have a generator to keep their kitchen going. Now that is a business I can get behind. The pricing is fair if not underpriced. Their food is really good, highly recommend. I ordered the Orange Chicken that came with a choice of steamed/fried rice. Also I bought some crab puffs because who doesn’t love them ❤️

Our first time ordering from this place using the Uber Eats App. Food was fresh and hot when it arrived. All items ordered had great flavor. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Chinese, Asian, Asian Fusion for lunch or dinner. For soups, we ordered the Wonton Soup. The soup had great flavor and was hot. Enjoyed it very much. I also ordered the Chicken with Broccoli which comes with your choice of white or fried rice. The Chicken has a great savory flavor. We also ordered the General Tso’s Chicken. This kind of tastes like the Orange Chicken but with a little spice to it. Very tasty as well. We also ordered Chicken Egg Rolls. They were nice and crispy. My cousin ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The chicken was hot and crispy. The sour sauce was sent in a separate container. Overall, the food was great! We will definitely order from this place next time!

They totally messed up my family’s order. I ordered shrimp vegetable with shrimp fried rice and look at what I got. SMH NEVER AGAIN!!! Food was dry and salty. If I could give a zero I definitely would. Tried calling the restaurant to correct order no one ever answered after many attempted calls.

I should’ve read the reviews first. Food was absolutely inedible. Salty and burned. The egg rolls look like they’d been deep fried in motor oil. When I told whoever was there about it (not sure if the owner or employee) he told me he was busy and he didn’t care. Will NEVER go back there and will actively tell others to avoid this place. Unacceptable.

NOT IMERIAL HUNAN as of 6/20/25. This restaurant has been here a year. Emlpoyee not too enthused about serving. Food was ok, either no spice or too much spice….I will not be returning.

Went in to buy some food for my husband left with a 21 dollar bill for a small portion of food not to mention the shrimp fried rice only had 3 shrimp in the box. They got me today but I won’t be returning back good luck I’m sure you will be out of business before next year with prices and food portions that small.

Few years back this place was legit. Not the best Chinese food but good and always consistent. Last time we went here they gave me orange chicken that appeared to be boiled chicken in straight up lemon juice. Also got some noodles that had no flavor and some other things. What’s usually a good go to spot for good cheap food disappointed our group of 4. Everybody’s food was bad so it wasn’t even a one off. I’m assuming they sold the business to some people who don’t actually care about food. Sad to see. The place next door is better and has good prices too.

I never leave reviews but wow their food was HORRIBLE! Their orange chicken had a very slimy consistency, like to the point it grossed me out and I couldn’t eat it anymore, the rice was very hard/dry and tasted off, and the egg rolls were small and disgusting. By far the worst I’ve ever had. My dogs seemed to like it though for what it’s worth.

What happened? There has definitely been a change in management. This was a nice little family restaurant with amazing food and prices, cooked with love.
Now it’s a bad experience best avoided.
I could call, order in 2 minutes, and have my food in hand within 10 minutes.
I haven’t been back in three months or so, I finally ordered today, I was instantly put on hold with someone who sounded like they were in a call center.After 4 minutes on hold and no response, the line disconnected.
I called back, same person, had to go through an agonizing process that took 5 minutes just to order fried rice. I’ve worked customer service, I was blown away by how bad this experience was.
She told me it would be ready in 25 minutes.
It used to take 5 minutes.
Oh to top it off? The food sucks now. I’m not exaggerating, the rice has no colour, the pork in the rice looked like dollar store cubed meat that didn’t even taste cooked. There’s also noticeably less meat.
They can’t even properly prepare their vegetables, the green onion stems were left in the food leaving you with a terrible bitter taste.

Ordered from doordash. Got the house special fried rice and pan fried dumplings because they looked really good in the pictures. When I got the food it looked nothing like the pictures. The dumplings in the pictures are thick and looked homemade. The fried rice looked nice and gold and brown like it had a good amount of seasoning and soy sauce. What I ended up getting were thin fried and dried potstickers, and almost white rice with vegetables. Tasted decent but not what I was hoping for.
