Located at 705 North Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach, Dumpling Mix is a Chinese eatery specializing in Sichuan flavors and handcrafted dumplings made fresh daily. It is all great. You will love it all.

The place is not huge, but there is plenty of seating and you can also get take away and delivery.

The service is great. You can get a paper menu, just ask for it, I hate those things that go on your phone.

they have great numbing-spicy chili oil dumplings to comforting steamed pork buns. It is all authentic regional Chinese cuisine.

The industrial type dining room has lovely dangling red lanterns and a communal dumpling bar.

They have great Sichuan mouthwatering chicken, plump boiled dumplings, or crispy-bottomed potstickers.

There is nothing not to like here and you will be happy. The prices are fair.

We came in right when they opened. Staff seated us right away. There’s a qr code to scan and view the menu. You can also place your order on your phone. Courteous server. The food was excellent.

The cucumbers were delicious. We also had green beans and fried tofu. We enjoyed all the food and will come back.

Super friendly and helpful staff who served delicious Taiwanese style snacks ( the pickles are amazing and I love the peanuts). Great selection for vegetarians as well. Easy parking and very clean restaurant with very fast service of food and drinks . We will come back to try even more dishes.

This place is good for Taiwanese food and dumplings. We got the cabbage and pork and with the deal with minimum spend..we also got the corn and chicken dumplings. They were both soupy flavorful. The beer noodle soup was good but there is wasn’t enough umami flavor despite the beef being very tender. The scallion pancake is very good. The beer rolls were also really good and tender but it was hard to hold together to eat.

The staff was very nice and attentive and gave us what we needed such as a water and whatnot and good choices on the menu.

Happy to find a new authentic Chinese place open up in the neighborhood. Nice spacious interior. Servers were attentive, we were seated quickly. The menu needs to be scanned from a QR code, but wasn’t really an issue for us.

Food today really hit the spot, especially the sesame noodles, just the right chewiness. A flavor I always missed since moving to the area.

The pan fried chicken&corn dumplings were also great and worth the wait, personally prefer it over the boiled dumpling, which wasn’t bad, just more like your typical dumpling.

The popcorn chicken was the authentic Taiwanese batter outside and juicy inside, my kid loved it. The sausage looked like it was pre-cut and fried, the taste was good, just not used to the shriveled appearance. But kid also loved it, clean plate!

The seasoned cucumber was refreshing, cold and crunchy. I did end up dipping the sauce to get some more flavor, probably just needed a bit more time in the marinade.

All in all a solid experience! Definitely coming back with friends to try out the other stuff!

I reside closeby and find this small deli sized restaurant a must if you’re craving Taiwanese Chinese faire. It is the real deal and the daughter owner lady works very hard and her crew pumps out the grub fast. Her dad is there with her kid usually and the nicest people. He delivered food once to my house in a jiffy.

Food is on point, delicious and flavorful, accompanied with their sauces. I like medium to hot food and this hits the spot. No options other than greasy China Coast where I have seen someone blowing his nose as I was picking up my food or Lotus Chinese.

Nevermind the complaint artists. I’ve not had a bad meal. Some of the pricing may be on the high side but competitive with the other two mentioned. Hey, we’re by the beach, so just enjoy!

Everything we ordered here was delicious. We ordered the sesame noodle and dry mix beef noodle bowls and both hit the spot, the noodles were springy and chewy and the beef was super tender. Dumplings were juicy and the skin was also springy and chewy (in a good way) and not thick. We could tell they took great care in packing this up to-go. Will 10/10 come back again and support this local spot. So glad it’s here in the South Bay.

My aunt and I dined here last Monday, January 5th. Came in an hour before closing and were seated rather quickly. The restaurant was nice and modern, the vibe was relaxed. We ordered steamed surf and turf dumplings, fried pork and cabbage dumplings, beef tendon noodle soup, scallion pancakes and marinated cucumbers – all of which were delicious. Not too salty and blood pressure-raising unlike some places (if you know you know). Food and atmosphere – 5 stars.

I give this place 3 stars because our server (only person serving probably because they were closing soon) was serving food to us and other guests at the restaurant and mopping at the same time, while wearing the same black gloves. I was watching the entire time and not once did he remove his gloves, wash his hands and put on new gloves while switching between tasks. At one point, his mop fell on the floor so he picked it up and never changed gloves. Very unsanitary. I couldn’t bring myself to call him out on it as I just wanted to have a nice meal with my aunt. No one else in the restaurant seemed to take notice. I think the owner (lady) was there with her kids as well. Otherwise, we were served quickly and efficiently.

I would try this place again but if this happens again, I’ll definitely say something.

Highly anticipated and waited for a long time to try this place out. Drove from Ontario to Redondo Beach just to try this place because I love dumpling and noodles. The food was the best. If you’re into juicy dumplings this is the spot to go to. I tried the spicy beef noodle, both soup and no soup one. Beef was very tender and the broth was top notch. Dumpling was super good with juices coming out in your mouth. I also tried their cold seaweed and cucumber. They were both good. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and want to try authentic Chinese/Taiwanese style dumplings and noodles. Service was 5 stars as well. Make sure to try their teas. They got a variety of them.

We were excited to try out this new dumpling place and were not disappointed.

Food: everything we ordered was pretty good. We ordered and tried a lot of different things so we can bring some home. Prices are slightly above average but not outrageous in today’s scales.

Dumplings: we tried the surf & turf pan fried, it took a while to serve, though it was worth the wait. There were 8 (small) pieces and they tasted very good!

Scallion Pan Cake: very nicely made, we liked it

Noodles: braised beef noodles soup, we liked the thick al dente noodles, and I liked the thick beef (my wife would prefer them to be smaller), the preserved vegetables were excellent, and soup was fine.

Beef roll: pretty tasty with a little flaky skin

Lettuce w/ Garlic, I loved it but not sure if people would pay $15 for a lettuce dish, ha ha

Cucumbers had a nice presentation, crunch and fresh, with pretty good sauce

The atmosphere is nice and new, the ordering is via QR code and directly so it’s fast and efficient, and there is no need to wait for the staff.

The staff is new, they were pretty focused on the basic stuff like delivering the food, getting water, etc, not so much socializing and interaction. Generally, the newer style of self ordering and minimal service which is ok with us.

Parking: plenty of free parking in this good sized mall.
