Food was good, but did not particularly stand out compared to other dumpling places. Had great service from one server, but the rest were very stressed and hurried. It was hard to get their attention. Food presentation was great and they surprisingly have a large bar. I would come back again and try different items.

A total gem in Burlingame! The attention to detail here, from the food to the gorgeous blue-and-white porcelain teapots for the sauces, is incredible.
We started with the Squash & Salmon Roe appetizer, which was the perfect palate cleanser with its sweet, sour, and slightly spicy kick. The Scallion Oil Noodles were another standout; they had that perfect ‘QQ’ bounce and a rich, sweet-savory glaze that coated every strand without clumping.
But the real stars? The Corn and Chicken Pan-fried Buns have the most satisfyingly crispy bottoms and a burst of juice inside. And don’t leave without the Sesame Balls. They’re easily the best I’ve had in the Bay Area: crispy on the outside, pillowy soft inside, and actually filled with substance rather than being hollow. Absolutely coming back for more!

We happened to walk into this place looking for a nice bar. Great food and drinks! Bartender, Edgar, was super friendly and made our drinks to our taste – less sweet. Scallion pancakes and chicken dumplings were great as well. We will be back to try other dishes.

Jimmy the owner was the one helping us and he was GREAT! I’ve been in the search for a restaurant similar to Din Tai Fung and this is by far the closest I have found. We got the green beans, classic Xiao Long Bao, pork pan fried buns, pork pot stickers and the braised beef noodle soup. We were so impressed and would order every single thing again. The pork pan fried buns were what he recommended and those ended up being our favorite. He even made us a chocolate mochi xiao long bao when we asked if they had it and it was very good! I hope he puts that on the menu soon. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back.

Clean, fresh-tasting and very soupy dumplings. The pork buns were just okay. The restaurant itself is nice, with a pleasant view overlooking a lively intersection. Overall, a good spot for dumplings with a decent atmosphere.

Just tried couple of traditional Chinese dishes there. Wow, the steamed soup XLB is really good – each is perfectly made in a very thin (almost transparent) skin with lots of soup inside. And the soup is so tasty and NOT oily at all. The three flavored dumplings and the pan fried buns taste very authentic too. Been to many Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area, this one is definitely on top of my list. It has the better interior decor and the clean feel. Especially love the cute sauce set. The bar area has ample seats, three big TVs and good drink selections. Perfect to stop by for a quick meal (or drink) after strolling the beautify downtown Burlingame. Highly recommend!!!

Jimmy, the owner, is so talented and extremely accommodating. He will suggest his favorites, which turn out to be, now, my favorites! The chicken potstickers are delicious. Everything we ordered was mouthwatering. This is my favorite restaurant to gather with family and friends.
