Great Chinese food place! Flavorful food that came out really fast. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. The only thing I thought could improve was the tofu being a bit too chewy, but otherwise, it was all great!

My wife and I had some veggie spring rolls, a huge thing of hot and sour soup, a 2 different types of dumplings. All for less than $30. I ate my fill and still have leftovers. Everything tasted really good. I easily say best value between portions, flavor and cost I’ve had in a long time. I find it very hard to feed 2 people well for less than $30 anymore.

Food is fresh. Very short weight time. Enough food to take some home later. Clean dining room. Price is very reasonable. On the economical end. Awesome experience

Dumpling House absolutely slaps!! The food? Top tier! Super flavorful, cooked perfectly, large portions, and VERY affordable. Plus, they have a ton of vegetarian options, which I really appreciate! The service was amazing!! Everyone was so sweet and welcoming, like they actually enjoy being there (and it shows)! The place was spotless, the food came out fast, and every single bite was a win. I already know I’ll be back regularly!!

Ordered carry-out through their website. Pork egg roll was excellent. Chicken and mushroom dumplings (fried and I’d like to try steamed) were great. Would have loved a dipping sauce for dumplings and egg roll – maybe it didn’t make it into the bag. Northeast Braised Pork (spicy) was amazing and made up for everything else. Got white rice instead fried but it happens! Still great. I’m so full I cannot try the hot and sour soup but I’m sure it will be lovely. No crunchy noodles came with it but I’ll deal!

Overall: excellent food. Didn’t realize I had to order dipping sauces separately. Will definitely be back for the braised pork!!

The hotpot is my new favorite dining experience. It is like the fancy fondue places, only with the unique flavors of authentic Chinese cooking. I love the way the meatballs randomly turn over while cooking. We got half spicy, half original. The flavors of both improved throughout the meal as the various meats cooked and enriched the broths. It was so fun! I have carbohydrate restrictions, but it was easy to avoid the higher carb choices (potatoes, noodles.) my favorite was the puffy fish meatball with a meatball in the middle. Unbelievably good. There were two sauces: a sesame garlic and a peanut sauce. I loved the peanut sauce combined with the flavors of the spicy broth. The sesame garlic sauce was good on everything. However, for the most part you didn’t need either, the flavors were so good! I mostly used it to enhance a bite or two. So the food was amazing, and the people attending us during the meal were great answering my questions about all of it. (What is that leaf? Etc.) But the best part is how much fun we had trying everything and getting our cooking techniques right and recommending stuff to each other. Highly recommend as a date night! As far as value…you pay a little more for the experience—but you get your moneys worth in amount of food, quality and uniqueness of the flavors and variety of options, and how fun it is.

Basically, we have done this twice and it is now my favorite dining experience ever.

I personally have no complaints, my wife was not thrilled about canned pop, but I prefer water with dinner. The food was the best restaurant food I have had in several years, and the staff was lovely. We had the Mapo tofu, kung pao tofu, fried pork ribs, cream cheese rangoon, beef soup noodle, pork and preserved cabbage dumplings, pork and leek dumplings, and vegetable dumplings. For roughly $18 per person we had more food than 4 adults and 1 twelve year old could eat.

It is a little hole in the wall restaurant and the interior is what you would expect. We WILL be back.

Very good food. Tried this restaurant with my parents. Food is really good and the portions are awesome. Can’t wait to try more of their menu! A new favorite restaurant in Muncie! I’m so happy for the vegetarian/vegan options.

Great and friendly staff. Food came out as it was finished cooking, so it was all hot and tasty. The only 2 negative things I have to say about this place is… The fried rice is just plain rice turned orange. Nothing else! And the Crab Rangoon has no crab in it. Just cream cheese. It was still ok though.

My kids, grandkids, and I went here again today. They graciously accommodated 10 of us. Even though the fried rice hasn’t changed, the food was still awesome and hot! Thank you to the staff for taking care of us today!!
