Reviews
The chicken wasn’t cooked through at all. We tried five different items, and none of them were properly cooked inside. It honestly felt like they only get the sauce from Pericana.
We went because of the reviews, but I really don’t understand why the ratings are so high.
The staff were too busy chatting among themselves, and I don’t think I’ll ever come back.
I ended up ordering the pork soup dumplings, pan-fried pork baos, and the rainbow soup dumplings, totaling $57 for 18 dumplings. For ~$3 per bite-sized dumpling you’d expect them to be really tasty right? Unfortunately, the steamed dumplings didn’t have much distinction in flavor from each other and the fillings tasted artificial. I think the best of the bunch was the black colored truffle pork dumpling. Overall, these dumplings weren’t any better than the factory mass-produced ones you could pickup at an Asian grocery store. I was disappointed with the overpriced mediocrity and wouldn’t go out of my way to find this place again.
