Best dumplings I’ve ever had. Delicious through and through. My friend and I were talking, and I had to stop talking because the food was too good. I didn’t want to be distracted.

I wasn’t blown away by this place, but it is solid and likely worth checking out some of the other things on the menu. I got the veggie dumplings with sauce. I would’ve liked the dumplings to be more crispy, but the sauce was very flavorful. Nice, clean, bright decor. I think worth another try down the road for something different on the menu.

Small counter-serve restaurant with Asian cuisine. Though centered around dumplings, the menu also has other dishes. The dumplings are small and the dough it tough and chewy. Pricey for the area, $10 for a coke and some dumplings. My order of steamed dumplings came out in about 10 mins, sitting in a pool of water.

Portions were small and the only good tasting thing was the pork buns which were actually really good. The Dan Dan noodles just weren’t it…tasted like a weird, very aggressive, expired peanut flavor. Not Dan Dan noodles at all. Ended up not even eating it. But the staff was nice and online ordering was good.

The food is okay if you are looking for something like the Chinese version of KFC or McDonald’s. The Dan Dan Mien is good. But others were just okay. The skin of dumpling was too chewy. The bun was not warm enough. The environment is modern and clean. Hope the food would be better.

Recently tried the Dumpling Daughter in Brookline for lunch. The service and staff were very kind and helpful, but the food was only good. Dumpling Daughter is more like Chinese fast food then authentic Chinese food. It wasn’t bad, it was average and good for a quick lunch. The location was bright and clean and had ample tables.

I wanted to like Dumpling Daughters but unfortunately, their dumplings are entirely inedible. The dough is too overworked and tough. The filling is bland and doesn’t even fill the entire dumpling. The portion size is comical considering the price. $8 for 6 miniature dumplings? I get more and better quality dumplings from Trader Joe’s next door.

I love dumpling daughter! After walking by this location a few times I am glad we finally tried it. They have a good selection of vegan options and the food is very tasty! The prices were good too! The only thing I didn’t like was the buns, they were just a little too bready for my taste. I love that they add golden raisins to the fried rice.

Undoubtedly the worst Asian style food I have ever had. The rice under the chicken katsu somehow managed to be both mushy and hard on top. The chicken soup, completely flavorless and they told me it was $1 extra for Sriracha, which I only wanted to make it edible. The steam buns had a weird hard outer shell the seemed like that had been steamed hours ago, left to dry out and then microwaved. They also tasted sort of dry and didn’t have much flavor. We also got pork dumplings, they were ok, and a bubble tea that was sweet and ok, but definitely nothing special. All this for $51 plus an 18% tip for counter service, just over $60. So yea, like the old joke, “the food was bad and the portions were small.” Skip it.
