Absolutely delicious! This dumpling & bao spot inside the Asian market is a hidden gem. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. The marinated beef slices were tender and perfectly seasoned, the chive pockets were fragrant and savory, and the Sichuan chili wontons had just the right amount of heat—so flavorful without being overpowering. The pan-fried pork bao were crispy on the bottom, juicy inside, and incredibly satisfying.
The service was excellent—the staff were incredibly sweet, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can really tell they care about their customers and the food they serve. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the market. I’ll definitely be back!

This charming little restaurant is absolutely delicious and the staff is marvelous! Their food is authentically Chinese and distinctively Hunan (a province of China). They offer the customer their preference of spice level, including non-spicy, but I recommend the spice. The spice is far more authentic but is not so strong as to overwhelm the American palate. We ordered spicy noodle and fried pork bao, they are quite tasty. Definitely will recommend anyone who likes to try authentic Chinese dishes.

I had a great experience at this newly opened location! I ordered the popcorn chicken, fries, and the pork bao bun, and both were delicious. The fries and popcorn chicken was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, while the pork bao bun was soft, fresh, and very satisfying. The staff were friendly and the store felt clean and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items!

I wanted to try this place while I went shopping in the Asian Market. I ordered the popcorn chicken and pork bao bun. The food took quite a while to come out. It does not look like they have a lot of staff. The popcorn chicken was phenomenal. It was one of the best popcorn chickens we have ver had. So delicious. No sauce was given, but trust me, no sauce needed. The popcorn chicken was extremely well seasoned. Very yummy and I highly recommend ordering it. It came out nice, hot and fresh too. As for the bao bun, it was not very good. It kind of felt like it was steamed from frozen. However, the popcorn chicken alone deserves all the praises. The location is convenient for all the grocery shoppers there. I hope this place does well. Unfortunately, so many food establishments in this location have come and gone. Here’s to good wishes for this place. The ambiance is kind of funny, considering it’s inside a supermarket, but still a great place

Tried the popcorn chicken, braised beef noodle, meat buns, and pig’s ear today, they were all really goood!!! Finally found one good chinese store in orem! Their buns are freshly cooked. The popcorn chicken is marinated and flavorful, and it comes with a big portion!

The food at Dumpling Bao is awesome! Steam bun skins are made from scratch and they taste like home. I also love the wonton tossed in chili oil! Wonton soup, dumplings, fried popcorn chicken are all really good. We have been ordering from them at least twice a week. We love the taste and love the friendly services!

I love this place. I tell all of my friends and family to come here to find good dumplings! Their dumplings, noodles, and chili oil wontons are so yummy. Also the sauce to dip the pan fried dumplings in is insane!

Recommend the handmade pan fried pork bao. The wontons were also excellent. We have yet to try everything but so far so good. Located inside the market, so easy to eat and do some shopping. Had plenty of seats.
