Since the city of Hamburg even gave its name to the hamburger, when you visit the city you naturally expect to eat a really good one. When you search on Google, only two places really stand out, and this is one of them. Of course, you go in with the expectation of tasting the very best, but unfortunately that is not quite the case. The burger is average. I cannot say it is bad, but I also cannot say it is great. Considering the lack of strong alternatives in the city, it is understandable why this place is considered one of the best.

Amazing burgers and service. My bf ordered the Farmer’s one and I order the vegan cheeseburger. He said it is the best burger he has had in his life! Mine was also great, we order the fries to go with it with piri piri mayo, and the fries were perfecttt! Highly recommended. The service was top, very friendly and attentive too, asked for our preferred language and suggested a menu for the burger even if it was better(more profit) for them if we did not order it that way. Will go back

Went a somewhat busy evening with my grilfriend, the day after Christmas. The service was excellent and the English menu well written.
Ordered two burgers for me and my girlfriend. One champignion and a crunchy chicken along with french fries and onion rings, two sauces and two bottles of draft beer.
Everything arrived quickly, was warm and incredibly tasty! The burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly. The sides were crunchy, tasty and almost so good as to be the main attraction.
Overall 10/10 would recommend!

I came here with very high expectations. It was quite crowded at 8:30 PM, but we got a table in about 15 minutes. The burgers were just average—I’ve had better. Some onion rings were greasy and a few were burnt, but I really liked the fries. Overall, it was okay, but I don’t think I’ll rush back.

I had the BBQ Hamburger along with the Dulf’s De Javu cocktail, and both were absolutely fantastic! The burger was juicy, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced with that smoky BBQ taste. The cocktail was creative, refreshing, and paired so well with the meal. The atmosphere at Dulf’s Hamburger is lively and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy high-quality food and drinks. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a delicious burger experience.

The best thing we ate was not the burger it was chicken bites and fries. The burger was good but I have to say little pricey if you get the menu option ( fries and sause ).

Dulf’s Burger is definitely a strong candidate for the best burger in Hamburg . There’s not much to say — you simply have to try it yourself. The juicy patty with melted cheese on top takes the burger to another level . The seasoning is perfectly balanced, and the patty keeps its juiciness in an amazing way.
The buns are fresh and nice, but to make this burger a full 10/10, I’d wish for bread baked with the right sourdough — that would take the taste experience even higher . I also tried the Mac & Cheese, but unfortunately it wasn’t that impressive. Still, my focus was the burger, and it didn’t disappoint.
I ordered the BBQ burger , and the portion size was more than enough. If you’re not super hungry, you can even share or go for fewer patties (my friend had the 3–4 patty option). We had to wait a little bit, but that’s only because the place is so popular and busy.
One small minus: it would have been nice to have paper towels in the restroom .
