Duke’s is a locally cultivated cocktail bar occupying a historic location that, since 1933, has been serving delicious libations to the hardworking people of Healdsburg. Our mission is to provide a welcoming watering hole for locals and tourists alike, free of pretension and full of enjoyment, education and experimentation. Our menu showcases locally made spirits, beer and wine as well as a unique selection of brands from across the ocean. When it comes to the products we use behind the bar – If we can make it or grow it ourselves, we will. If we can’t, we will make sure it is the best we can buy.

I am a Healdsburg local and have been going to Dukes since they opened. The bartenders are great and typically I enjoy myself. Last night I had friends visiting from Uganda and they wanted to go out so decided to take them to Dukes. When we got there, the security guard told my black friend he could not wear his hat inside, no worries he took it off and put it in the car. When we got inside there were many patrons wearing hats. I pointed it out to the security guard and he said, “They got there before he did so they slipped through.’ Ok, fair enough. Throughout the night more and more white patrons came in wearing hats. Then our other friends from Uganda joined us and were asked by security to take off their hats. At this point, the racism is blatant. I approach the security guard, again, and am told, “they can’t wear hats that are gang related or sports.” They are from Uganda, they are not in gangs and the hats were not sports related. It was almost comical that a white male with a hat and neck and face tattoos was 10 ft away at the bar as we were having this conversation. Having a no hat policy is fine, having a no hats for black patrons policy is racist and illegal. As a local concierge, I no longer feel comfortable recommending Dukes to our guests, especially guests of color.

Came here for New Year’s and had a phenomenal experience! Duke’s gave all you can eat burgers this night and they were extremely good! The people working it were extremely kind too. All the bar tenders were fast and didn’t make me wait to order. Very happy I decided to come here for New Years!

Came in with friends for some cocktails. Was craving a sweet and spicy cocktail. Jose came though with a tequila, pineapple, and jalapeño drink on the fly. It was simply amazing. Thanks, Jose! Also, i ordered a glass of their house-made ginger beer. It’s absolutely delicious, ask for a sample or just order yourself a glass.

Hoppin’ bar in Healdsburg for all your cocktail cravings. We rolled in after a wedding for the late-night party and this spot was poppin’ like it owed somebody money. The music was hitting, the dance floor was alive, the staff had that perfect energy, and the whole interior looked slick as hell. I scoped it earlier in the day and it looked good then, but at night? Different beast.
Yeah, I was definitely overdressed in my wedding suit, but nobody cared. Every vibe was welcome, every drink slapped, and the whole place delivered. Killer bar, give it a go.

We had amazing espresso martinis here with toasted marshmallows!!! Vibe was great. People were friendly. Good bartenders. Returned later after dinner and the place was busy with a small club like atmosphere, people dancing, etc. Great bar! Highly recommend for fun and great drinks.

I stopped by craving a piña colada, and Megan made me the perfect drink! It was fresh, refreshing, and exactly what I needed. She was incredibly friendly and even showed kindness to my dog Chiki making us feel so welcome. The combination of great service and a fantastic drink made my day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

The place is great I was able to find parking at night but this bar is really small. It was full of people and I wasn’t enabled to walk or dance. Drinks are delicious and staff members very good, polite and patient.

If you want a memorable time- don’t come here! Because I don’t remember ANYTHING after my experience at Dukes. I’m not the first woman to have this same mind-numbing experience.. Be careful when you go out here, bring your friends, preferably ones that don’t drink to keep an eye on the friends that do. Stay safe ladies.

One of the perfect places to park while the rest of the family walks around Healdsburg. The drinks were perfectly strong and their bar food was on point. I personally would categorize this place as an upscale dive bar and from the comments it looks like people go here to have a good time. So if you want to have a good time while in the west side of the wine country, come here.
