Gwen – the gem! Made our evening extra special with top notch service, excellent food recommendations (Halibut with Parmesan crust!), perfect wine suggestion, and dessert with symbiotic (cute!) candles. We loved absolutely everything about Duke’s and hope to come back soon! Make sure to try a dinghy with one of their very yummy chowders!
When I showed up, the host wished me a happy birthday without me even saying that it was my birthday and when I got to my table, there was a birthday card for me. What an amazing way to start the meal!
I had the smoked salmon deviled eggs which were insanely good, a small Caesar salad and got the stuffed halibut entree. Wow. Absolutely amazing. After the entree, the waiter asked if he could get me a birthday dessert and I chose the carrot cake – one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had.
Can’t wait to come back to Duke’s again soon. What an amazing team!
Calamari was good specially with a chipotle honey sauce add a bit of lemon or lime juice and it was great.
The clam chowder was great perfect body not too creamy not too watery, flavor on point. The crab cake sandwich w/ fried sweet potatoes was on point. Over all great atmosphere great food the services are on top of things
We started off with the crab dip that was GF and yummy. Then had the traditional clam chowder which was delicious and also GF. Side note all their chowders are GF!!! Finally ivahdbthe crab cakes and these were by far the best cakes I’ve had! Our service was very friendly, helpful and funny. Great place with great food and view. Will be back!!!
Dinner here was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we sat down, we were greeted with warm, attentive customer service that set the tone for the rest of the evening. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant, made even better by a stunning view that made every bite feel like a celebration.
The food? Incredible. Bold flavors, generous portions, and every dish was plated beautifully. The standout for me was the salmon pasta—rich, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful it had me wanting more with every bite. It struck that rare balance of comforting and gourmet.
This place delivered on all fronts, and I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town.
Still incredible: sweet crab, a crisp golden sear, and just enough sauce to let the seafood shine.
The classics here deliver as well. The chowder is rich and craveable (I did the bread-bowl—no regrets), and the fish & chips come perfectly flaky with a light, shatter-crisp coating and great fries.
Save room for the Brookie—warm, gooey, and downright addictive with ice cream.
Add in friendly service and relaxing marina views, and Duke’s is an easy recommend. Consistent, delicious, and absolutely worth a repeat visit.
If I were a local like my cousin (who recommended it), I would be coming back all the time! I’ll try to come back for dinner though if I’m ever in town again.
