Very disappointed by our experience here. We made a reservation for 1:30 and arrived at 12:50 to see if there was a chance of getting in early. The (very kind) woman working the front told us they could “definitely” do that. However, they didn’t get us in until 1:30. Completely understandable since that is when our reservation was, however, I wish she had been honest with us so we could’ve gone for a walk or something and come back at our reservation time rather than just sitting there. When we were seated, one member of our party asked the waiter if she could sample one of the beers before ordering a full size one. He snapped and said “well I need to do that first”, disappeared to the bar, came back and dropped it on the table, and didn’t return for 10 minutes to finish our drink order. Maybe asking for a sample isn’t the norm here, but he didn’t need to show us his exasperation over the request. We ordered the calamari to start which was the highlight of the meal, though the portion was very small for the price. The taste was great, it was thick and juicy. 2 of us got the fish tacos, which were dry and overpriced for only 2 tacos and some tortilla chips that could’ve been purchased at the store. The other got the fish and chips, which she remarked were average and underwhelming. For a $200 lunch, we expected much better. This was the weakest meal we had on our trip to Maui. The atmosphere and view were the only other highlights besides the calamari. Would not return if back in Kaanapali.

I ordered fish and chips and they were absolutely outstanding — crispy, golden perfection on the outside and flaky, tender on the inside. The batter is light and crunchy without being greasy, and every bite tastes fresh and perfectly seasoned. The famous Duke’s Mai Tai was superb as well. I’ll be coming back to Duke’s definitely .

We loved visiting Duke’s on our first trip to Maui but we couldn’t snag a reservation for this trip so we decided to walk in for lunch. It was another wonderful experience, we enjoyed some amazing whale watching on their patio with some incredible food! Lunch menu is kind of limited but we all really enjoyed what we ordered! See you next time!

Duke’s Beach House Maui was incredible. The service was top tier and Michael was awesome. He gave us amazing recommendations including our favorite dish of the entire trip… the mahi tuna tacos. In our opinion they were the best thing we had in Maui.
The food and drinks came out fast, literally within three to five minutes of ordering, and everything was perfect. Watching the sun go down from our table was the perfect way to end the night. The hula cake was the final touch on an amazing evening.
Easy 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

Inside the Outrigger Resort, the atmosphere of this restaurant by the sea is fantastic. It’s not that expensive either. There was a swimming pool next door, and I could enjoy the meal while feeling like I was in Hawaii. The wine list was great, and the food was great. I highly recommend it.
It’s a popular restaurant, so you have to be prepared to wait on weekends or during peak season.

Duke’s at Lahaina delivers across the board great food, great service, and a fabulous oceanfront view. The place fills up fast, so reservations are a must. The bar is open seating and first come, first served, which is perfect if you’re just looking to grab a drink. Bathrooms were clean, and shout out to manager Kawika, who was actively touching tables and jumping in to help bus, always a great sign of solid leadership.
Overall, it’s one of the best spots to eat and enjoy a brewski after a long day at the beach. I ordered the Korean taco and it was absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable by Maui standards, making it an easy recommendation.

Our server was a cool dude and very helpful. The Duke’s (famous) fish tacos did not disappoint, especially as I added avocado; my wife found the fish and chips were excellent (and better than the Hyatt’s Umalu’s fare); I understand the street tacos (one of us had) were great, as was the ‘lunch’ fish plate.
The slight downgrade for the atmosphere was because, as is usually the case with Dukes, the music was too loud … but the singer was really good.

Great food choices for whole family. Kids tried grilled cheese, grilled chicken breast, and chicken tenders. Adults got the ranch wedge salad, seafood risotto, and fish tacos. If you are a Westin timeshare owner, you get a free slice of pie. Great ambiance and right on the beach. Reservations recommended as the wait can extend past an hour and half.

Beach side restaurant with excellent food and service. The re is a constant change of fish and preparation style based on availability of fresh fish. Non- fish options as well. The seating overlooks the beach area where in season whales may go by or you can watch a beautiful sunset. Recommend finishing the meal with a hula pie.

We ended up going here twice. The first time was we had reservations for dinner and they ended up getting us an early. It was the best steak I have ever had highly recommend. They gave us a sweet card celebrating our belated honeymoon. The service was outstanding. everybody was so kind and loving the music was incredible and to watch the sunset was absolutely spectacular. We went back a few days later and had breakfast the banana macadamia nut pancakes were incredible. My husband had a burrito and said it was amazing. It looked good too, but most importantly, I loved our servers. They did such a wonderful job. I was just blown away. Here’s a few pictures of those experiences. I love this place and cannot wait to go back. Her server was absolutely extraordinary. Make sure this is one of your stops along the way it’s worth going and I will go every single time I go back.
